Had it back in today for the blurred image and Ford will replace the camera under warranty. Have to order the part, naturally. Another week.

Hey NedF, This was an issue before the recall fix. I waited thinking the fix might clear the image. The outside of the image is blurrier than the center like there is dirt or moisture internally. Back to Ford.

took 2 hours today. 23 xlt. Still useless. Rear image looks dirty even though the lens is clean. Will have to investigate more.

Got a 23 XLT eco and haven't noticed any freezing of the camera but mine is just totally blurry even when clean. Useless when backing. What's up with that Mr. Ford.

You are in S Florida. Monitor the temperature and respond accordingly. Move it if you have to. It actually looks better down there than higher up.

That's funny. I installed the tailgate assist and here in Colorado in winter it goes down so slow you have to help it along. In summer works great.

Got a text from Carvana saying the value on my 23 2.0 XLT increased so for kicks entered the info. Came out to a $25000 offer. 16000 miles with AWD, LUX, sliding window, tow, DIL. Alto blue. I will keep it.

Maybe they are discovering a software fix wont fix it. Maybe it's the hardware

Went in to my local dealer for the wiper motor and he said Ford might just replace the camera rather than a software fix. The 25's have a different camera so we may get it.

Got my Maverick in November of 23 and immediately installed the Falken Wildpeaks (245/65-17) for my first winter here in Colorado. Performed like a tank last winter and rode them all this summer. I am sure the tread depth is down some as I have lost a little grip this winter but still performing...
