I picked it up tonight. It is everything I expected and more. The Area 51 color is great in person. The other thing that doesn't land until you spend some time with one is just how "not small" it is. I knew it was 10" longer than my previous 2016 KIA Sorento, but until you stand around it or get...
Funny, I just emailed my sales guy that it was on a truck and he emailed right back saying it was being unloaded that very moment! And he sent a photo...
Mine is getting close as well. I was 95% sure it had reached the end of its train ride in Shelbyville, KY a few days ago, so I started watching the VIN through https://palsapp.com/ to hopefully get info on the last leg of the journey. The VIN was showing "pending" for a few days but confirmed...
95% of the photos are not accurate to what the color actually is. As mentioned earlier, it is a much darker slate blue/gray. When you saw it on the Bronco, you are correct that more black trim makes it look even darker, but it is still very different than almost all of the photos you will see...
WOW. That is a bizarre call to receive. If they did not lead with "we need to ADM your Maverick," this may just be a tactic to try and guilt you in to trading in with them. Especially when they mentioned they "expect you not to go and sell it elsewhere." Makes it seem like you can just stand...
I have more indicators that Louisville(Shelbyville) was the final train stop for mine and that it is waiting to be loaded on a truck for delivery to Cincinnati. Pretty safe to say at this point that RA8P indicates your train ride ends in Louisville(Shelbyville).

It looks like dealers north of Cincinnati are getting the RA4G looking at the window stickers in the region on Ford's inventory search. Cincinnati and south are getting RA8P like mine.
Do you know what the Rail One code is on your window sticker? Mine is RA8P. If yours is different, that could explain if we are on different routes. Referencing this interesting thread... https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/rail-car-delivery-ramp-1-codes.11658/
Glad this topic came up! My Ramp One code is RA8P. My truck is almost delivered complete and I was trying to figure out if it is at the point where it is switching from train to truck. It just got to Louisville, KY last night and my dealer is in Cincinnati, OH. I Googled "ra8p rail" and a bunch...
Mine is showing that it was in Louisville as of yesterday at 6:53 PM(per Norfolk Southern). I am not sure where the final stop is for rail travel. I thought it would take a similar path to @Younglefthander and go through Indianapolis to Cincinnati, but it did not. Union Pacific stated the...
Tracker is out of whack the last few weeks for vehicles in production and shipping. ETAs disappear and then emails sent out stating a truck that is halfway shipped to the dealer will take an extra two to three months, but then it shows up at the dealer the next week.
