The info is different with each tracker it seems. The Union Pacific one gives the most recent date stamp, but doesn't tell you where it is. It has starting point and then an estimate on the handover to CSX(end point in East St. Louis on 3-4-22 in my case). The Norfolk Southern one simply gives...
Wow. That is bad. We have a current generation Insight with that similar hybrid drivetrain, but FWD only. It does not get much long trip highway use, so the mileage has always been very good around town. Honda's hybrid system is different than the Ford/Toyota one in that the engine mainly runs...
ETAs are pretty out-of-whack for those of us who had production dates in January during the chip hold. Have you seen a "built" or "shipped" email yet? My ETA was late Feb, then changed to late May, then got "built" and "shipped" and ETA changed to late March. It's on a train now.
I tried mine on Union Pacific and it gave some good info and even gave me the option to fax the info to myself. Estimate is for it to be in East St. Louis on 3-4-22.
You might want to try Union Pacific as well since that is what it is supposed to be on right now. CSX in Mexico, then Union Pacific west of the Mississippi, then back to CSX for us east of the big river.

Thanks! This shows that the VVR we can get from the dealer shows detailed tracking as it is shipped. No real need to call CSX if we can get the VVR screenshots.
When I called I couldn't make much out either except something about December 3rd, Birmingham, AL, 5AM? I figure it needs to be logged in at a stop or something to to get updated in the system.
FYI:
One very important thing to note and this was on the original thread
“Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we...
The estimated delivery dates are way off right now. Mine was showing 5-20-22 even though it was produced on 1-13-22. It finally just shipped and updated to an ETA of 3-30-22.
The other thing everyone needs to consider is using a utility trailer rather than owning a pickup. You don't even need to own one, just rent one when needed. Most vehicles have the ability to tow a utility trailer and a decent sized load. It's similar to the AWD argument. FWD and the right tires...
