Ever since I decided not to pay too much attention to it I can better enjoy the truck. I have to remind myself that this is a 25k dollar truck and not a Mercedes SUV, even though I had rattling in my brand new Mercedes convertible too.....

my biggest issue is not the washing, it is the drying. I think it takes more times and efforts to properly dry a truck than washing it.

This is exactly what I was planning to do. It is really super annoying to have this constant rattle.

damn it, that was not the source. I put some sealing foam behind the plastic trim so that is now super snug and now rattle nor squeak from that area. Took a test drive and the same nasty rattle is still there. The quest continues......

I think I found the source of the evil. It is the plastic trim on the top area behind the seat. When you try to move it, it squeaks like a little piglet. I will apply some plastic lotion and will put some sealing foam behind it, lets see how it goes.

Neither Xl nor XLT have the electric mileage driven for Trip 1 and Trip2, you only get it per trip from the time you start the vehicle until you shut it down.

With my second tank I am not as great, after roughly 200 miles I am at 38mpg. Maybe the gas quality is not that great, but I havent change anything on my driving style/behavior.

Dont forget, many new Maverick owners(including myself) have never owned a truck before, so it is new and supersizing to us. I was already thinking of going to DMV next week and stay in the line for hours to get that fixed, but now I know better.

The only positive thing which comes with this is that I somehow like the look of those plates with mostly numbers on it :)

Just got my license plates and was wondering what good looking license plate frames are out there. My most favorite ones are the black Ford Performance OEM frames but those are so expensive. Don't want to pay 80 bucks for a pair of frames. Are they any cheaper options out there? I am looking for...
