Without reading through the entire thread, I can confirm how crappy the quality of the truck is. My issues:
-I have rattle everywhere inside the cabin
-My sunglasses holder is falling apart and the door doesn't close anymore
-I am not sure how long the foam of the seat can resist the heavy...
Thank you! this seem to be a european part number. I really love the look of your steering wheel. I will go through my dealership, I am sure they can find it easily. So, there is no chance to get one with the same configuration as our XLT? I was hoping for quick in and out swap, don't want mess...
Could you solve your problem? Mine is still broken and now the weather is warmer, the door keeps opening. I don't want to go to the dealership just for that but eventually will have them taking care of it.
I am actually pretty happy with it. It looks really great on my truck and even though I am super OCD, the quality issues are hardly noticeable. I would go for it.
I found a way to temporary eliminate almost all rattles in the truck: Turn on the heater!! Sounds stupid but it works. I will try to go with it until I find a way to get rid of the rattles entirely.
Mine rattles everywhere. Is the only thing on this car that sucks. Takes the joy out of the truck, really bad. I am so glad I didn't buy a fully loaded one, would have been super annoying to pay over 35k for a truck which rattles everywhere. Some of the rattle comes and goes. Some is there the...
I had the same. I am also not happy with all the edges of the letters. For 100 bucks I was expecting a better quality. At the end of the day I put the letters on and they seem to be ok and stable.
I don't think there are any covers on the market which are totally waterproof. I have the extang 2.0 signature and when it rains the entire bed is wet, not sockeye wet but pretty much like in your picture.
If you don't live up in the hills and are in a flat area, I think you should get easily this kind of mpg. Up and down the hill is what costs me most of my mpg.
I am still a little bit hesitant to start the removal process. I think once I start, there will be a point of no return and I am afraid that I will be stuck and be forced to use some force which might cause damage to the body. Are there any body shop expert who can provide some guidance?
I just ordered the exact same part (part number NZ6Z6029038A), you can get it for around 50-60 bucks. I am replacing mine because I scratched it and made it even worse trying to get rid of the scratches with a heat gun. Your truck is the first one I see with this issue, should be covered under...
So fellas, I just received the part and will install it sometime this weekend. Two things: My Dealership kind of ripped me of. They told me that the list price is 108 bucks and that they sell it to me with a big discount for 80. Now that I have the part number (NZ6Z6029038A) I looked it up and...
I am super OCD with my truck but hadn't noticed that with my bedliner. I have the same as you and doesn't bother me one second. As long as it stays the way it is and doesn't peal up, I am good the way it is. I even don't know what to do with does plugs.
Not all of us can be plumbers or carpenters but if you are a car guy and have a little bit of experience, you can do certain things on your cars. I am not a mechanic but have changed drive belts, brake pads/discs, spark plugs/coil packs, all sort of filters, trims around the windows and more on...
If you drive a lot up hill and do lots of short trips, this seem to be about right. I get best mpg on the freeway and worse in the city when I do my short trips up hill. You will see, when you take some longer freeway trips and don't necessarily go over 90 miles/hour your mpg will adjust...
This is what I am hoping for. I also asked the parts guy about the clips and he told me everything is included, so lets wait and see. This Video is the closest thing I could find about it but need to look at the replacement part to see how to push the clips on the other side to take it off...
Absolutely, this is what I am planning to do. I think this would be a waste if one of us here does something like this and doesn't share with the rest of the forum .
The heat gun was too tempting not to try but these parts are apparently not made to be treated with it. If this would have been a proper solution, we would have found at least one decent youtube video about it. There is nothing. I was super careful but it still didn't work out. That is life. I...
