Sorry for that. As someone else mentioned, you could order those: https://accessories.ford.com/products/bushwacker-preassembled-pocket-style-textured-black-satin-fender-flare
They have 20% off offer which will bring down the price to 400 bucks. Good luck .
Wait few more miles. I have started like that. Got 600 miles with my very first tank. I used to get 43-44 mpg average per tank. I am down to 35-36 per tank after 9k miles. I noticed a big drop after they did all the software updates (service bulletin for rough idle, catalyst convertor...
Can it be a problem with the bed cover clamps? Mine was messed up by myself. As I showed, the fix is super easy and you can get the parts for both sides for around 120-150 bucks. If it is caused by the bed cover clamps, you can see if the Bed Cover manufacturer covers the cost. If not, I would...
I just replaced mine, was super easy: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/how-to-remove-scratches-from-the-plastic-trims-around-the-bed-update-with-instruction-how-to-replace-the-trim-see-end-of-page5.6677/page-5
I would not stress out too much about it. Just get the part and...
If you get the part online, you might get it for 50 bucks. I would say that is a pretty good value for what you get, namely a brand new look. I think Black matte spray would have made it even worse.
So I just went for it and I wish I would had done it long time ago. It was so simple, the removal took less than 5 minutes. All you need is a fisherman's pliers and if handy a trim removal tool (not really needed).
The first tab you release, is the first accessible tab from underneath on the...
I have already the part so am just going to go with it. I had to order it, took few days and I paid 80 bucks for it. I didn't have the part number otherwise I could have ordered one for 50 dollars at one of the online Ford shops.
If this would have been something essential and damage one might see, I would definitely go to a bodyshop. But here, even when you damage anything on the body, it will be covered back with the replacement trim, so I guess I will just try it. The issue is not the money, is more the time and...
Thank you, I have a similar set with few more tools in there. I have just to make the time and go for it. I have had the part for several month now but have been procrastinating to do it. All I have to do is to remove the bed cover and flex that thing :-)
Thank you so much! I am a little afraid of the retainers which are hidden but I guess I will have just to try it. Worst case I will brake them and hopefully wont do much damage to the body of the truck.
Just wanted to check again and revive this thread. Has anyone removed/replaced the plastic trims around the bed yet? I have the replacement part but am really hesitant to try to remove the part. Based on what I see, it is almost impossible to remove without causing some damage on the truck. Any...
This is all a temporary fix, it will look the same after a week. With the carpet mats you just take them out, slap them against the wall and vacuum them and they look like new. Of course you can't do that when you really need all-weather mats....
I have been using the OEM all weather mats for several month now. I liked the look of it at the beginning. But after several month of use, even when you keep them as clean as you can, they look "old and dirty". I keep my truck very clean and can't stand this "dirty" look of these mats. I just...
I am looking for a set of decent all weather/summer tires with white letters for my XLT Hybrid. I think tires with white letters look really great on the Maverick, even with the relativity small XLT wheels. I don't want to paint the stock tires, I think with these specific tires, it wouldn't...
