Got that email today. Ordered 10/23/21 originally and placed a MY23 order when the banks were open. I have my private offer code from the Ford support line.
Could the low allocations be the result of the dealers not reaching the quota of selling to the original people that ordered? Ford punishing the dealers for taking orders and selling to someone else?
Honestly I don't know. I don't think my dealer knows how the rollover works either. He put me down as priority 19 so now I have to go fight him on that.
This was my experience too. At least I got my confirmation email this morning. Once all this simmers down I am going to go back and ask to be put at priority 10.
Lots of people didn't get the confirmation email from Ford first go around. It took me a couple of weeks to get mine last time. It was a common complaint on these boards.
I called the Ford support line in Friday and they gave me the code to my special offer. I would try again next week. Hopefully they get everyone up to speed.
I just don't know if they are doing it on purpose or really have no idea how to do roll overs. I would hope it's the latter. Ford is no help with the way they handled this either.
Here's another update from me if anyone still cares.
Went to the dealer during my lunch break to place a MY2023 order. They are still using a 2022 build sheet for MY23? I chose pretty much the same build as my '22, hybrid XLT with Lux but add the 360 package this time. Might as well go for...
So I just got off the phone with the Ford support. They are much more knowledgeable than the chat function. The lady on the phone gave me my private offer code. It's just some combination of my order code and sales code. There is a 22 in there as well which I assumed is for the MY22...
My dealer doesn't even know that I have to convert. And Ford's chat was no help either. They told me I would be automatically converted.
How long do I have to be able to convert? 2 weeks? I hope by next week they will learn the process.
