Welcome to the club! I also have had no issues with the touchscreen HVAC controls on my '25. It took a little bit to memorize where all the controls were, but that happens even with physical controls. I will say I'm much more apt to just keep it in "auto" mode now and adjust to the desired temp...
This sounds like the same underhanded shit that John Deere engages in. They don't want you to have access to that stuff because then you might be able to fix YOUR OWN vehicle that you bought and paid for YOURSELF instead of having to drag it into a dealership who has been blessed by the mother...
I did my first change at 1500 and then another at 10,000. I will continue to do 10,000 or when the oil monitor says, whichever is first. Oh, and as a fun experiment I'm only using Walmart brand full synthetic. We'll see what happens!
Indeed, it seems to make more noise in the cold. I've also noticed that if you try to drive it before it comes off of high idle the acceleration feels uneven and weird. I just use the remote start to let it warm up a little before I walk outside. Takes only a minute in warm weather and 3-5 in...
Ahh, I like the idea of using contact cleaner more than rubbing alcohol as I believe it has a lubricant in it as well whereas the alcohol will dissolve any lubricant that's in the buttons. Good call.
It sounds like something got spilled onto the buttons if they're sticking together like that. You MIGHT be able to get away with dripping a small amount of 99% rubbing alcohol between the buttons and then working them to loosen up whatever got spilled inside. The real solution is to disassemble...
Sitting at 11,287 miles after eight months of ownership. Getting around 30MPG unloaded and 28-29MPG when hauling my dirt bike to races on the weekends. The weekend race trips account for the majority of my mileage. I work in town, so during the week I only drive 50-60 miles total back and forth...
I've been looking at the BFG Trail Terrains. They have a more aggressive look, but are still pretty tame as far as tread pattern is concerned. That said, my last truck had Michelin Defender 2's and the damn things last FOREVER. If longevity is a concern, they're worth a look.
I'm pretty sure we already established that the '25 front-end is better, why do we need another thread discussing it?
Jokes aside - I don't think the '22-'24 front-end looks bad at all, I just think the '25 looks better. More modern looking to me. The '22-'24 looks like something from a mid...
I'm certainly not a sophisticated man, but I like the idea of something along these lines more:

I really like the idea of this, but I also use my backseat as a changing room after races, and I don't think I want to try changing my clothes back there without a seat. That said, it would work really well for me otherwise because I normally fold the seat up and put my racing gear + boots, and...
I haven't met anyone yet who doesn't like their Maverick, and I get questions about mine all the time, especially at dirt bike races where people are impressed by the 28-30MPG(Ecoboost) I get hauling my bike around. It's a good truck as long as it fits your use cases.
I think the gearing is the biggest thing. Without that the engine is going to have to work that much harder to move the extra weight down the road. You could probably get away with upgrading the cooling components beyond what the factory 4K tow package offers (if you can find parts to do it) but...
Those are always looked super cool to me, but unfortunately I need the bed + tailgate length to fit my bike. Still, the idea of a lockable dirty storage area for gear really appeals to me. Good stuff!
Coming from a truck with a "normal" T-handle console shifter, I must say I LOVE the dial shifter. Just flick it to the right without looking and it's in drive. It's satisfying. I don't bother shifting it to park though. I just open the door and it happens auto-magically.
Here's a good comparison from Project Farm on Youtube of various plastic trim protectant / restoration products.
I've been using the Cerakote wipes myself.
