I wanted something a bit different. I ordered a reflective white set for my Maverick. They came in the mail today. I just need a truck to put them on now!
I ordered the FITS accessory kit from Ford Parts America and got an email today, saying that "My card" was cancelled. There's not a thing wrong with my card....
Oh do tell! Pics would be awesome too! Of course, I can always wait for it to be on the website.. Would you please post a direct link to the item, once it's available?
Using the VIN history, I've been tracking my Maverick's progress from Mexico. This is the route if you were driving, but it's close enough for me.. It was shipped on 10/20 and took 10 days to make it to Illinois (Keep in mind, that I live in SC..) From there, it traveled down south as far as...
AWD.. Folks live up north... It has been known to snow up there, from time to time..
I know the Maverick doesn't have the ground clearance that my 4X4 F-350 has, but it'll burn a lot less fuel when it's time to visit family!
He may have given you the 19th, because it takes 4 days to finish the build? Mine was scheduled for 10/11, but build didn't start until 10/14. 4 days later, it was built... 10/18.
Not so much confused, as unaware. I had no idea Ford would be willing to throw something in with the purchase price that other manufacturers don't. As I said, I learned something.
I know the app is free. I was under the impression that an internet connection in the vehicle was required, for all the remote features to work. Since my Maverick was just unloaded from the railcar today and not in my driveway, I cannot verify for myself.
My only experience with remote features...
I didn't mean to imply that a home wifi connection was required, only that it was a possible option for people that didn't want to pay for the Fordpass connect internet access.
*Note* If the Fordpass remote start will work anywhere without an active internet connection in the vehicle, I will be...
I found this on the ford website and thought it would be helpful to many. It compares packages/options for each trim level.
Enjoy!
*EDIT* This is an early document that is not 100% correct anymore. Please verify that anything you see on it is still true.
