I just installed mine a few minutes ago and it works perfectly as advertised. It's made by a member on here, Telemachus.
The instructions he provides are good and clear, and the Maverick panels come off very easily, so i think it's something that can be handled by someone who has never worked...
Quite the overreaction. Parts fail, no big deal. "Needs to be held accountable" lol acting like you need to hold a gun to someone's head just because of a parts failure under warranty.
You do realize the difference between warranty repair and lemon law don't you?
etrailer.com is usually my go-to to find aftermarket hitch availability. The Curt one that HRG mentioned is basically the only option at the moment: https://www.etrailer.com/hitch-2023_Ford_Maverick.htm
They have wiring harnesses as well.
The bottom two fasteners of the rears are screws, not clips. You can see them in my pics.
The front has three clips on each side and the rears have one clip only at the top.
Installation was super easy! All you need is a 7mm socket/wrench and the included panel tool to remove the pop-in clips. I reused all the factory hardware but it's nice that Mabett includes eight new clips in case you are missing or break any.
I think @B2000 is correct, in that they're low...
My set just got delivered. They are very nice quality and look great. The lower portion that extends below the body is indeed flexible while the upper remains stiff.
Wow, I removed this from my personal wish list literally an hour before this was posted because I was convinced it was vaporware. The 50% off code for $30 makes it a no-brainer!
Like new DeeZee tailgate assist (part number DZ43207) with two (2) V-ring tie downs to replace the factory tie down the must be removed for installation. Includes all hardware and the spare clips for the damper.
Only installed on my truck for three months and less than 1,300 miles.
Price: $25...
Haha I just realized that it was a different person asking where the jack was! What are the odds of Tim d and TomD responding within 10 minutes of each other
Only the XL wheels come with hubcaps. They're actually hubcaps because they only cover the hubs, not the entire wheel. Colloquially, full "wheel covers" are referred to as a hubcaps, even though it's a misnomer (just like wheels are often called "rims").
The jack and kit are stored behind the...
Anyone know what this small plastic thing is that's in the tool bag for the emergency jack? It looks like the head of a tire spoon, but it's way too small for that use. It fits into the end of the rod used to lower the spare.
You'll need to get on Ford Customer Service Chat and kindly ask for your railcar number. I think all I had to provide was the VIN. It should be a Norfolk Southern car number that starts with TTGX. There've been claims in the last several months that they've stopped giving out the railcar...
