UPDATE: I took the truck in. No codes found by me or the dealer. Dealer tested the battery as well and it was good. I have had NO other dash lights since.
I'm not very far off your mpg with the same setup. I probably realistically 20% freeway and 80% city driving. I am averaging, since tracking my gas in GasBuddy, 26 mpg. My best has been 27.5 mpg. I started tracking in the app at 2780 miles on the odometer and now have 7796 miles.
You go into the menu selection screen in the dash. You can select various "displays". One of them on mine is for Auto Start Stop status. Keep in mind I have the larger screen with my FX4. Might be different for the folks with the smaller in dash screen.
Appreciate the response, but as I stated in my original post the dash is providing the reason of "disabled because of vehicle charging". Which seems to point to battery related.
My A/SS stopped working a couple of weeks back. I have an appointment. Dash just keeps saying its disabled because of vehicle charging. Seems the truck just constantly charges and A/SS stays disabled. My truck was built at the end of January of 2022.
I wonder how many of these issue are actually dealer related and not actually Ford related? I feel like a ton of Dealers have no idea how to CORRECTLY place an order with Ford for a customer ordered vehicle.
I ordered my 2022 in October 2021 and had my truck by February 2022. Got timely updates...
Tossed my smart charger on the battery quick. Didn't stay in charging mode long and went to fully charged and maintenance right away. No errors on the charger at all.
Yes, odd. Another thing I just thought of was the other day I got the notice in the app that my remote features were disabled to conserve power or whatever it says. So maybe my battery is having issues?
So hopped in my truck yesterday. Went to start it up and had the Service Soon/Wrench light on the dash. WTH?? I put the truck in reverse back out of the garage, put the truck in park. I then shut the truck off. Went to start it a second time and the light was gone. I then scanned for codes and...
I would like that option. I tried finding the plug that goes to the lights to try and order and make my own patch cable, but could not find the plug anywhere.
I am going to assume that most of us did not supply a VIN confirming compatibility for the mirror ad they we are SOL on returns since we installed this as a DIY at home and no dealer.
