My PPM has worked just fine since I got it. No issues. The biggest selling point for me was the fact that the PPM doesn't overwrite and data on the ECU etc. that could lead to dealer issues down the road. As for the actual performance its hard to say as I don't have access to a Dyno.
I had a trade then loan with like 1.9% financing. I don't know how you people pay in cash. I suppose if I still lived in my parents basement with no bills I could squirrel away the money. I mean with mortgage, utilities, food, crap the for kiddos, and retirement savings I am not also going to be...
You must not be very familiar with direct injection turbo engines ;-) Direct Injection engines are just noisy and that is for most makes. It took me some learning to understand it.
I also have the Panda Power Module. Redd's review pretty much spot on. I am working with my wireless OBD II module to do some data logging of the RPM, Intake Temp., Fuel Rail Pressure, Intake Manifold Absolute Pressure, and Exhaust Pressure to see what I can see with PPM at its various settings...
I have a BlueDriver OBD II adapter for trouble codes and data logging. When logging the fuel rail pressure the idle psi level is like 200+ psi. What is the expected fuel rail pressure range for our engine?
I had a service appointment today for an oil change and decided to start with Eco at level 1 and work my way up to 3. I cant say I noticed any difference in performance with Eco level 1, 2, or 3. Take this as you want since I was only using my "butt dyno" to evaluate. Next up will be Sport mode...
Just curious. Could you not use like Trip 2 as "this trip" and then Trip 1 as "current tank" etc? Wouldn't that be the same as what you are looking for?
Got it yesterday and installed. Have not had time to take it out and test drive yet. Install was pretty straight forward. Only issue is accessing the charge pipe sensor as that is low on the front of the engine. I accessed it through the top though it would probably been easier going from...
Its to bad you got a "lemon". I say this all the time, but seeing threads like this just reaffirms my decision on going with the 2.0 EB and not the hybrid. Trade her in and move on. Good luck.
Buy a BlueDriver OBD II reader. You plug the bluetooth OBD II reader into the port and can read an reset codes using your phone. Can't even count how many times it has saved my ass.
