That’s one of the main reasons why I ordered the Lariat trim. I hate carrying keys in my pocket. I attach the key fob to a plastic swivel hook and clip it to my belt loop. I’m hands-free and pocket-free then. The Lariat’s key-free push button start was huge for me.

You only get a Scheduled for Production week with your VIN, which is subject to rescheduling. After your truck ACTUALLY goes into production, the tracking system will update to show an estimated delivery date (which is also subject to change).

I believe you will get an email from Ford for only the following 4 steps: 1. Order Confirmed 2. Scheduled for Production 3. Built 4. Shipped I don’t believe you will get an In Production email from Ford.

Mine jumps back and forth too between Order Confirmed and In Production. I confirmed with my dealer’s visibility report that it is definitely In Production even though the Ford tracking system occasionally shows Order Confirmed. No need to be concerned…. You are In Production.
