Yeah, I'm not sure why there are people so adamantly opposed to it, lol. My Honda CR-V had something similar, at least with the "walk-away" part, but you could go in and turn it off if you didn't like it. You KNOW it's just a few lines of code to do something like that but....no.
Yeah...it's just a habit I have to get out of. Just being able to walk away. My Honda CR-V did it automatically. Seems like a no brainer kind of option Ford should have added.
Finally picked up my Maverick today and can’t figure out whether my truck has the capability to lock its doors when you’ve left the vehicle with your key. I thought just about every vehicle had this capability now, but if it’s there I can’t find it. There’s some setting that supposedly allows...
Trying to pick out a pet seat cover for the back seat and they seem to wildly vary in dimension across the seats. (Don’t have the vehicle yet to measure). Can anyone point me to a link that has this measurement or measure it for me? Thanks all!
Thanks for the quick reply. I haven’t picked up the vehicle yet so I haven’t been able to measure it, but it is the Lariat with the 19 inch wheels. Is this one also comparably low?
I searched for pet steps but didn’t see a lot. I thought that was surprising so maybe I did something wrong. I’m any case, I’ve got an older Lab that isn’t going to be able to jump all the way up into the rear seat. So I’m going to need steps that are adjustable to the height of the door frame...
I didn’t actually account for that because I don’t know how to. I also don’t know if maintenance in out years is actually more on the hybrid. But good point. One other factor is that hybrid Lariats with the 4K tow package are almost impossible to find right now, while non hybrids are everywhere...
Well..I ended up figuring it out, lol, but thought I would share my math for anyone trying to figure out the same thing. I used 26 as my MPG for non-hybrid and 38 for my hybrid MPG. I also used $3.00 a gallon for gas, because that's what it has reliably been where I live in MD, and 10,000 miles...
I'm about to pull the trigger on ordering a Lariat and I'm trying to figure out whether the Hybrid makes financial sense. Not only are they harder to get but they're obviously more expensive. I only drive about 10,000 a year. Anyone have any observations about how I can figure the math out on...
