The Corsair is actually sync 3 with a Lincoln specific UI. That said, true Sync 3 and 4 have a higher quality UI with animations that make a big difference over the Maverick's Sync 2.5.
Sync 4 configured! Only thing I wasn't able to get functional was 911 assist since Sync 4 doesn't want to play nice with our RCM. Ill let @propp2531 replicate my results and then I will begin posting the revenant info for everyone.
Managed to make brackets to mount the APIM today. Sync 4 is now permanently installed in my vehicle. Still a few things to clean up in the as built but I'd say its 99% functional as is. Now that it is installed, it will be easier to make changes without needing to remove it when I need to drive...
No just like you, worked before I started messing with the As Built but now does not work. I am sure it is an As Built parameter that needs to be changed. I want to get it permanently installed before I start trying to hunt it down though.
Second working Sync 4 swap. Got a few more things to button up in the as built but as @propp2531 said, need to first figure out a mounting solution. I will likely be doing that Friday.
PS: Sat Radio "Antenna Problem" was due to me not having the antenna plugged in.
I would have to go back in and look but there is a vehicle name parameter, boot animation, and some other low level settings that have Maverick specific parameters.
I have to look once my new APIM arrives but I was thinking of mounting it just under the ACM to the plastic tray that the ACM slides into. Not sure about space but it should be close enough for everything to still connect without extensions.
If it is not displaying anything, first make sure line 7D0-01-01 XXXX-XXXX-*X is set to 8, 7D0-01-01 XXXX-XXXX-X* is a 2, 7D0-02-01 *XXX-XXXX-XX is a 0, and 7D0-02-01 X*XX-XXXX-XX is a 2.
Well my new ACM did not fix my issues. This is pointing me to believe that my APIM is faulty (which is possible). The APIM will not even report the software version number. I am going to get a new nav APIM just like @propp2531 to replicate his results. If I can, then I believe we have a fully...
You would need the entire dash harness of a lariat to do this. It might be possible, but for me, this was the easier route.
IF I can't get Sync 4 functional, Sync 3 gen 4 is the backup.
Ok so just to see if anything would change, I redid the CAN Bus leads and ACM data connection leads last night. Unfortunately no change to functionality. I think I am pretty safe to say it is not the harness at this point. Once the new ACM arrives we shall see.
Unfortunately that appears to be a Sync 3 vehicle according to the ABD... Looks like the transit connect will only get the 12" version of Sync 4 and it doesn't appear that the option is available yet.
It’s likely a firmware difference, not a hardware issue. The F150 ACMs will not work though since the mounting is different. Just snagged a Bronco Sport ACM for $140. With the ACMs I noticed there is a distinct difference between firmware. Most ACMs have ABD entries down to 727-04-08 where as...
