Mid cycle refreshes are normally a few years out so you would think they would have the issues ironed out by then. But this is Ford we’re talking about 😂
In the grand scheme of things, Ford can profit more off these Fleet Mavericks. Think of it, first model year, you hyped the hell out of this "low" cost budget truck and want to market it for commercial use. You prioritize these trucks when possible so that you have these commercial companies...
Personally the expierence from ordering the truck to delays to finding one for MSRP was incredibly frustrating. This is probably my last Ford vehicle I will buy for awhile. I'm moving out of State in July and might get a smaller vehicle for City life.
I took mine from Maine to Philadelphia and back with 200 miles on it, average cruising speed was about 75-80mph. I think you should be fine OP. Just don't expect the greatest gas mileage with the engine breaking itself in.
I love mine! The only quality issue I have is that the screw's rusted pretty quickly (Maine Winter's). Looks meh but I haven't had the time to get replacements.
It was pretty similar!
The main differences where:
Original Order had XLT Lux and was Alto Blue
This stock ordered one was non XLT Lux and is Cactus Grey. It also came with: Bed Extender, Sunroof, 400W Inverter which I liked!
I ordered originally from Casco Bay Ford, Im a a Mainehealth employee and we get a $500 discount from them. My order was in for a month but I figured with the chip shortage and wanting the XLT Lux package it was going to get delayed so i kept an eye out. Found my Maverick coming to Nucar Ford...
Hello! I will play a bit of devil's advocate here! I live right down the road from Rowe Ford and have talked with them on multiple occasions before I bought my Maverick at another dealer. When I was interested in the Maverick they allowed me to sit in an XL that was spoken for and the staff...
I personally wouldn’t do multiple orders. If your truck is not scheduled to be built the dealer just simply cancels the order. Mine was never scheduled so I cancelled and got my deposit back
Dealer just called, they said the factory seemed to have misaligned the taillight making it more prone to popping out. They put it back in and said just to keep an eye on it. If it happens again they will throw the parts cannon at it.
I took a look at it today, it seems like its the white fastener's that are the issue. I popped it back in today and wiggled it a bit and it popped right back out. It never made the "clicking" noise I seen reported on here when its in properly.
Appointment is tomorrow.
