Not very encouraging. Looks like Ford needs to include a jumper battery and cables for new Mavericks. Reminds me of my high school '54 ford sedan. But you can't push start a Maverick. Very dangerous.
So many things going wrong. I'm getting cold feet buying a ford. Had my 4runner for 21 years; everything still works 298,000 miles later. Never considered a Ford until the Maverick. Now, after reading about all the issues and lack of help from Ford, on this forum, I'm out of the car buying...
I have been driving a 2002 4runner since new. 290,000 miles. Been shopping for a new car for 3 or 4 years and up until the Maverick there was nothing I liked; to big, to small, to expensive. I rented a RAV4 last year for a 1000+ mile drive. I liked it but not as much room in the back as my...
I put a $500 deposit today. Mossy Ford. Refundable deposit with GM signature. Copy of DR. Sales person (nice guy, Manny) said they should get any new options and pricing before the order bank opening day. I think this will save a little time on Aug. 15th.
Thanks. I was just considering El Cajon.
I have been talking to Mossy. Kearney mesa never bothered to call me back and when I went to their lot no one even took the time to say hello. Maybe bad timing. Looking forward to getting my order in Aug 15th. Not sure which dealer. Probably order two.
Yas. Always looked for a downhill parking spot. I could fix almost anything on that old wagon. Now one needs a cell phone to call a tow truck. (I'm good with that)
All these hybrid issues are making me change my mind on getting a Maverick hybrid. Back to the drawing board. That eco-boost is starting to look better. I don't want to have to rely on jumper cables. Maybe we can push start the darn thing like my ' 46 ford woody back in the '60's.
My dealer Mossy Ford, just called and said "they are able to pre-order the Maverick. We submit it and when it opens again you are automatically entered, we just need your DR copy, $500 deposit and the build." Anyone else heard this?
