I got an email from Ford for my notification, obviously, but not gonna lie...I am disappointed in my salesman...he has not contacted me since the initial order. I reached out to him about a question early on, but he was not helpful at all. I normally have a good relationship with this dealer...
Knowing my luck...I only ordered mine that way because the salesman discouraged me from ordering options any way but in the packages. I WANTED a bedmat
Aww. I'm sorry. Welcome to our club...lol.. but not a group I would wish membership for anyone.
I read somewhere of some hybrid builds that were scheduled in ahead of schedule/before my ecoboost. I think it's according to the rest of the build, but my point was delaying mine to slip in a few hybrids to quieten the masses that feel all the hybrids have been put on hold.
Sincerely, I feel horrible you haven't received any acknowledgement. At this point, If they haven't even acknowledged the order, I would go to the dealer and make sure the order actually went in as YOUR order, and that they got your email address correct.
I guess I'm crazy, but I thought if you met the x-plan criteria, they were required to honor it....hmm....I hope my dealer does, because my employer is an FAD, and the salesman knows it...there was only vague discussion about it when I ordered in June.
My statement didn't finish...after I read others had their build dates moved up. But what was I thinking? Oh, well, like people here have said, it's only a week, and I at least have somewhat of a build date. But it feels so long, since I put my initial reservation and order as soon as they would...
The more I look at the scheduling changes I read about here, the more I think you are truly correct. They're trying to appease the hybrid crowd I think.
