Today afternoon, I just chat with Ford. The truck is still under process. However, the priority code changed from 13 to 02 now. I will call or chat with Ford next week to see what happens.
Last time I chatted with Ford, my priority was 13. Last week after receiving the email, I dropped lux package+copilot360+moonroof. This week is not scheduled. I will contact Ford next Thursday or Friday to check my priority.
I was thinking about the same way to keep all the options. If it's 10 months ago, I will keep all the options. But time flies, and things change. I really need a car now. I might keep one and sell one to my uncle. His working manual Tacoma is almost 17 years old.
Yesterday, I was on a Carnival Cruise and received the email. After thinking about 2 mins, I sent an email to Ashlie/Steven. I will remove the lux package + copilot 360. I don't know whether my July order will be delivered in 2022 or not. I'm done with Ford. And I just know that my priority is 13.
As I post in the other post. The downside is that we may get our 2022 model in 2023 if our trucks will be scheduled on the last day. Both the new car is losing 1-year value. And the old car for trade-in is losing another year of value as well. For us, it's a loss-loss situation.
It will be a sad story. For example, my July order is scheduled for 08/04, and the production date is 10/21. But the factory delays or changes the production date. The truck will be built in Nov or Dec 2022 and delivered in Jan. 2023. In 2023, I get a 2022 model. WTF, Ford!
I can feel the pain and anger from OP. Time is money and so the truck is. I will sue the dealer in the small claim court. We don't need to spend the money on a lawyer. Bring your story and the other similar stories to the court, and see what the judge says. OP also needs to post the story on...
Thanks for updating the data. I've already lost my hope. I don't care when will my truck be built or shipped. Once it's built or shipped, I just get a cheap truck and that's it. I won't be exciting anymore. And I'm done with Ford as well. Wonder Toyota or other companies will produce hybrid...

I also want the @Dealerinsider to negotiate with Ford as the @fordvideoguy does. You get many orders thru the forum, you should do something for the members. I know it's also a hard time for you. But as a big dealership, I think you have some power to do that.
