That smaller panel on mine uses a stout plastic clamp on either side. They’re inserted into aluminum slots mounted to the underside. With the clamp loose, they slide over to the underside and engage the rails.

@Mr Pibb - this was one of my concerns. The rails themselves look to be of a much smaller profile than what I have seen. Wondering if this is due to tailoring them to the Maverick.

I’ve tried with the clamp bolt heads facing the wall of the bed (as per directions), I’ve tried with them facing the inside of the bed. I’ve tried without spacers (none included), and I’ve tried with homemade cut from a silicone...
I didn’t think about it at the time, but the original badges had a bit of gasket material between them and the sheet metal. I noticed that when I was putting the original badges in the shipping box for safe keeping.
I wonder if it might be a good idea to cut something to shape for the new markers…

this brings up a good point. I didn’t think about how far up and over they would go and I have a tonneau cover coming on Saturday! Gonna have to figure this one out…
