Do not poison rodents. Raptors and other carnivores eat the poisoned rodents and then die from the poison in the rat. Shoot 'em or trap them. It doesn't matter but please! Do not spread poison every where.
Yes please! Do not poison rodents. Because they eat the poison and don't die right away. Only for raptors or Coyotes to eat the poisoned rats in turn poisoning an unintended target and killing them.
There is some debate around the soy theory but it does make sense. What I have read really drives rodents to chew is that their teeth are constantly growing and they have to chew things to keep them filed down or they will grow out of their mouths, They do chew just about anything. Wood...
Here in AZ it's Pack Rats. If I keep it garaged I'm OK, but put it out in the driveway over night and I'm bound to get some. Luckily I was able to splice the chewed wires and all is good. I check under the hood each morning if I can, spray with peppermint regularly (not sure that works), gave up...
Maybe find some really big comfortable oversize clown shoes and replace the seats with them. Might do it. There are all kinds of unusual suggestions on this forum.
If you do decide to buy either plan be sure you pay the extra for exterior lighting. Lights are not automatically included and replacing one headlight is over $1000 now. The days of just replacing a burned out bulb are over.
My home alarm/smart home system is also integrated to Siri. When I'm connected to CarPlay I can simply tell Siri to open or close the garage door. No need to touch any buttons.
What you did was my second option but I did the hard wire installation to not be bothered with batteries and give it a factory installed look. I really had to gulp over the price. At the end of the day I probably should have just done what you did.
There is a fuse box in the engine area. It is however almost impossible to tap into. The fuse box in the passenger floor area is much easier. There are rubber grommets in the fire wall to gain access to under the hood.
Turned out nice but you paid a lot for these lights and now you are out another $17 for the wipes to bring them back to where they should be. That's just not right.
Water has a mind of its own. I hope you are close to finding the origin, but I doubt where you are seeing it dripping near the window is actually where the leak is unfortunately. Hope so! Leaks can be as frustrating as dash rattles.
I know you checked the 3rd brake light already but you might just want to check it again. I had a leak there and it didn’t stain my headliner at all. The underside is somewhat water resistant. The seal on the brake light is not very pliable and has room for improvement. You may also want to...
