    Can you fault them really? Dealers are only allocated so many of each vehicle, and currently low numbers, and you just told them you wanna waste their allocation only to spend your money elsewhere. That’s a honest cliff notes of the situation.

    Ford isn’t only company doing this. I have a C8 on order currently and Chevrolet is building C8’s without rear park assist parts to be installed later due to chip shortages.

    My truck will be here towards the end of the month and will need cruise activated. Anyone semi local to Fayetteville have forscan and can program it for me. I don't feel like having to buy a laptop just to have Forscan. Case of tasty beverages for some cruise activation love? :)

    I was under same mindset years ago when stop/start came out(“We are gonna see a bunch of cars needing starters now!”). But I think I’ve seen one stop/start vehicle need a starter since the beginning of the trend.
