Dealers are only allocated so many of each vehicle, and currently low numbers, and you just told them you wanna waste their allocation only to spend your money elsewhere. That’s a honest cliff notes of the situation.

Sunroof is quite a opinionated option. Some love them, as a over 20 year service department employee they are just something that loves to leak or malfunction to me.

I was under same mindset years ago when stop/start came out(“We are gonna see a bunch of cars needing starters now!”). But I think I’ve seen one stop/start vehicle need a starter since the beginning of the trend.
