agrees 100% about the interior color. The black onyx interior should be standard, or a stand alone option at least on higher trim levels. Having blue interior for all the colors is not great.
thanks. I used the back up assist too. The 'target' made it easy to center the hitch. Only issue I had was trailer was on a slight uphill grade and the backup assist didn't want to engage. Shouldn't be an issue for most cases but its not something that can be used if you have an incline.
Picked up my Lariat on Friday June 13th (definitely not an unlucky day for me...). Dealership experience was excellent and one of the easiest friction free experiences in nearly 40 years of new car purchases. Bought from Gervais Ford in Ayer, MA. They quoted and negotiated by text with...
I'd have liked to be in the mtg @ Ford when some marketing person suggests adding go fast stickers. Could have pre-empted all this with a sarcastic eye-roll from the overall program mgr.
my Lariat w/ BAP has arrived at dealer (picking up next week after they install the tonneau) and first thing (after installing the Cravenspeed Platypus LP mount aka "don't drill my front bumper") will be hood stripe removal. It's to each their own but I'm in the "please don't put stickers on...
At least Ford seems to be putting out more base XL's than they did in 2022. Even with the price increase it's a pretty affordable truck. The Lariat is more expensive than XL / XLT's and only the buyer can decide if the added content / trim is worth the $. What's expensive is in the eye of...
like the data approach. Using my nothing but anecdotal and gut feel it looks like the take rate is up for all but the Lariat. Using a data sample of 1 (me) - I went w/ the Ecoboost on the Lariat because I needed the 4k Tow and didn't think the Hybrid had enough torque for me to avoid clogging...
I need to tow a trailer so I went with the Eco Boost for the increased HP and TQ bs the hybrid.
If I was logging 15k+ miles a year, needed AWD and 4K towing not needed the hybrids increased cost vs fuel economy tradeoff seems worth it.
Following - waiting on my '25 Maverick. I checked the Ford site and it's saying there are no open recall campaigns for my truck. Supposed to deliver end of this week / early next. Checking w my dealer to see if delivery will be delayed to address any open issues.
