  1. 2025 Lariat has arrived.

agrees 100% about the interior color. The black onyx interior should be standard, or a stand alone option at least on higher trim levels. Having blue interior for all the colors is not great.
  2. 2025 Lariat has arrived.

thanks. I used the back up assist too. The 'target' made it easy to center the hitch. Only issue I had was trailer was on a slight uphill grade and the backup assist didn't want to engage. Shouldn't be an issue for most cases but its not something that can be used if you have an incline.
  3. Am i the only one on here that doesn’t like auto hold feature

You are not alone. More annoyance than helpful. Who needs hill start assist when it’s a automatic…
  4. 2025 Lariat has arrived.

Picked up my Lariat on Friday June 13th (definitely not an unlucky day for me...). Dealership experience was excellent and one of the easiest friction free experiences in nearly 40 years of new car purchases. Bought from Gervais Ford in Ayer, MA. They quoted and negotiated by text with...
  5. Goodbye 2025 BAP stripes

I'd have liked to be in the mtg @ Ford when some marketing person suggests adding go fast stickers. Could have pre-empted all this with a sarcastic eye-roll from the overall program mgr.
  6. Goodbye 2025 BAP stripes

my Lariat w/ BAP has arrived at dealer (picking up next week after they install the tonneau) and first thing (after installing the Cravenspeed Platypus LP mount aka "don't drill my front bumper") will be hood stripe removal. It's to each their own but I'm in the "please don't put stickers on...
  7. New Wheels & Tires Installed – Wildpeak AT Trails on Black Rhino Boxers 🔥

wheels look great and compliment the blue. Nicely done
  8. Is this another recall? Engine failure

"rapid unscheduled disassembling" best description of a vehicle exploding.
  9. Maverick National "For Sale" Data: Is the Hybrid Lariat becoming extinct?...

At least Ford seems to be putting out more base XL's than they did in 2022. Even with the price increase it's a pretty affordable truck. The Lariat is more expensive than XL / XLT's and only the buyer can decide if the added content / trim is worth the $. What's expensive is in the eye of...
  10. Maverick National "For Sale" Data: Is the Hybrid Lariat becoming extinct?...

like the data approach. Using my nothing but anecdotal and gut feel it looks like the take rate is up for all but the Lariat. Using a data sample of 1 (me) - I went w/ the Ecoboost on the Lariat because I needed the 4k Tow and didn't think the Hybrid had enough torque for me to avoid clogging...
  11. What are your thoughts on these points against owning a hybrid truck?

I need to tow a trailer so I went with the Eco Boost for the increased HP and TQ bs the hybrid. If I was logging 15k+ miles a year, needed AWD and 4K towing not needed the hybrids increased cost vs fuel economy tradeoff seems worth it.
  12. First recall - 2025 Lariat

Following - waiting on my '25 Maverick. I checked the Ford site and it's saying there are no open recall campaigns for my truck. Supposed to deliver end of this week / early next. Checking w my dealer to see if delivery will be delayed to address any open issues.
  13. When is enough????

Nicely done mods. Truck looks beautiful in the pics and must be even better in person.
