  1. Now I want one sooo bad!

Do the EB guys troll the hybrid forums? Just wondering.
  2. I want a Lobo...I think

Did my first autocross in ~15 years last weekend. It wasn't SCCA, so didn't have to worry about the SCCA's stability guidelines. It was super fun. And I learned that if you are a real hack behind the wheel, in lobo mode with stability control off, it just might be possible to spin. But you'd...
  3. Tire Plug Kit Recommendations?

That appears to be a nice kit. I've always bought whatever walmart / oreilly's, etc had. The only issue I've ever had was breaking a plastic handle. And the glue drying up.......
  4. +1 to low factory fluid fills

OK, went and looked at the big syringe from Harbor Freight I used to put oil in, and it holds 7 oz, not 17. Not sure why I thought it was 17 oz. It took nearly one full syringe full of oil to fill the front diff. So around 6 oz.
  5. +1 to low factory fluid fills

? There are two diffs. A front diff. Or whatever ford calls it. This one took a pint. A rear diff. This one took a just few ounces. I have no idea what the actual capacities of each of the two diffs are. I just know what it took to make the oil dribble out of the fill hole.
  6. +1 to low factory fluid fills

The rear diff in my lobo took a few ounces to top off, but the front diff was quite low. Took a solid pint to top off. Haven't done the trans yet.
  7. Lobo Tire Options - research phase

We are on parallel paths. I came to the same conclusion regarding wanting to change to 18" Konig 'gram wheels, and the tire availability dilemma. Almost zero choices for summer only tires. While I love the idea of having a set of summer tires to autox, I ultimately decided that a set of...
  8. Tire Pressure

I routinely "overinflate" the front tires by 3-5 psi since most vehicles have 60% or more of the total vehicle weight on the front tires. And the front tires do most of the stopping and turning. I've never understood why there are separate front and rear pressure specs on the door placard...
  9. HELP - problem replacing front door speakers - adapter ring problems?

I recently put in Kicker KSC's with the same rings and everything fit fine.
  10. New Lobo Owner

Congrats on that deal! And I thought I got a good deal on a base lobo at 6500 off at the end of last year.
  11. Aftermarket / Custom Wheels & Tire Photos and Specs (on Maverick) -- Add Yours

Lookin good! Oversteers in that color are on my short list. I was thinking 18's and 245/55's to get a little more sidewall.
  12. Refilling 8f35 transmission

Thank you. I was assuming a thread like that would be in the transmission section...... But it also makes sense to have it in the Maintenance section.
  13. Refilling 8f35 transmission

What is the right temperature? I'm assuming at operating temp, not cold. Is that correct?
  14. 🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

Installed a Puzu PZ-C7 digital sound processor / amp, and played with REW software a bit to do a rough tune. Soooo much better than stock.
  15. 2 things on my forscan wishlist......1. be able to search music on thumbdrive while in motion, and 2, show gear indicator full time. 2025 Lobo

The thing I have plugged into the USB A drive in the dash which has about 27,951 cd's worth of music. Give or take a few.
  16. 2 things on my forscan wishlist......1. be able to search music on thumbdrive while in motion, and 2, show gear indicator full time. 2025 Lobo

    1. Regarding the thumbdrive, it appears that the 22-24's had an EZ mode selection for "driver restriction" in one of the modules. I've searched the 2025 spreadsheet for everything I can think of and am not finding anything. I certainly could have missed it. I have seen posts that indicate...
  17. Lowering parts check- 2025 Hybrid AWD

Wheels look good. What brand and model?.
  18. 2025 wheel weight and wheel and tire weight (factory)

My 2025 Lobo's option 6/12 spoke wheel (and 2025 BAP wheel?) and tire combo was ~55 1/2 lbs. Assuming the weight of the OEM tire is accurate on tire rack at 26 lbs, then the wheel is around 29-30 lbs. I was highly skeptical of the previous mention of 37 lbs since OEM wheels are generally not...
