Interesting comment! The problem I have with metric is the extrapolation of such small quantities. I have no use for the quantity twenty five thousandth of a gallon of gas even though it can be expressed that way. When I hear a weight expressed as 200K, I think 200,000 paper clips because that...
I for the life of me, can not figure out why people need to draw that kind of attention?
I will relish compliments for my upkeep and personalization of my vehicles, but in day to day life, I prefer to exist anonymous.
I like your approach. Pliable enough to flex for conditions and just enough to protect. I'll be looking for DIY solutions for the front of rear rocker problem and left rear cavity above the exhaust also.
Well, some of us like to solve our own problems and spend time doing something constructive. I'm somewhere around 30/hr and I think you are a pompase ass.
Unless I am mistaken, the 12 mo issue has a lot to do with heat/cold cycles. If you have the luxury of garage parking or live in a dry climate, condensation doesn't degrade your oil very much and normal driving will get the water vapor out on it's own.
What is Dunning -Kruger affect? I would care to learn.
On the subject at hand, I am also very curious to learn more. My first experience with a 10K interval was a mid 2000 Harley, I thought I'm not stretching it anywhere close to that. On the other hand, I recently sold a mid 2000 Jeep that I...
I agree with your opinion here. Reading all these posts on this subject has given a guy a lot to think about. The ICE in a hybrid runs less, but I think 10K is too long for today's manufacturing standards. I'll go with 5K interval.
I recently read (I just read, didn't research.) that way back to the Exon Valdez incident, that the beaches that got the Dawn treatment did not recover as well as the areas that did get contaminated but were not easily accessible and therefore not "cleaned up".
Glad you got to see God's country. I've lived in North West Wyoming for 30+ yrs now. An adventure is only as easy as getting out.
Last summer, my dear friend and I logged 5k miles in 3 weeks of July, used my park pass 13 times in 6 or 7 national parks.
(The gal attending the East gate of...
I'm right there with you capn, I've sold a Jeep and my son needs '95 pickup. That leaves me with a Chevy SSR, not good for winter driving. I ordered June 9th, got my VIN number a week later (I didn't know it happened that way)!
I'm scheduled for the 3rd week of August and hopping transportation...
