I tried that in mine (25 XL). Still got the screen with a green check mark. I still have to acknowledge that my truck acknowledged that I buckled up! I've discovered that it goes away after 1/10th of a mile.
I do feel for you guys that wait for your new truck. I'm, now getting used to mine and all the modern tech of a modern vehicle. Mine is a hybrid, with only one upgrade, AWD. Perhaps that is why I enjoy it already. Plain and simple. My build date was two days earlier than expected, followed by...
I agree! I'm just getting to know my new truck. Wouldn't you think that the "auto" set it and forget it option would be farthest away and the manual fine tuning should be close at hand. Do engineers and programers ever actually try to experience what they created? Very frustrating, they designed...
17 days! Do you live across from the assembly plant? Mine was built Aug 21st, I hope to be sitting in it the week after next.
If I was one of those earlier buyers that waited 13 months, I might have forgotten that I had ordered one.
You are right, they didn't suck! Chevelles, Buicks (GS), Old Cutlass, Cutlass Supreme, and the 442, Corvette Stingray, and of course Mustangs. Most cars you see daily now, look like a melting bar of soap and all the trucks look like tanks.
Except the Maverick, that's why I bought one.
yep, same here. Every thread comment wants pics and details, to help or add value to the conversation. If and when video or audio fails to upload, that's on the site.
Having said that, I love this site. I know more about my truck and have yet to take possession.
It's a different world we live in these days. Locks are to keep the honest people honest.
I think Mo Ledbetter has an answer to a lot of the problems that civilized society has today.
Not a jerk post, just light hearted ribbing. Everyone here knows the hybrids might have 12 volt battery issues, maybe not. I'll be carrying a jump pack and hiding a spare key in mine. I'm happy for the OP, let the adventure begin!
Thanks, that would look awesome on a carbon grey metallic Mav. I'll probably stick with the steelies for a while, but will definitely keep these in mind. I've also thought about beauty rings with a gunmetal chrome, then re chroming the center cap gunmetal also and spray the steelies black.
I...
Yep, that's what I was thinking as far as my truck. Carbon metallic where the red is on that, much more subtle on a grey truck.
I really like what you did on your truck. The red on red looks great. I also like the spoke pattern on them.
There is a sort of step to the casting in the spokes of the rim. I could paint the daintier part at the outer face to match the color of the truck and black out the deeper recession near the brakes.
Wow, that is a lot of red. Very nice!
I like those rims. Would you guess that they weigh less than XL steelies?
I'm a waiting for my 25 carbon grey XL. Looking at your close up pics, there is a step. I think a body color match up outside and a gloss black deeper would look sharp. Would you agree?
