YES!! Paperwork please!

Listen to the very end. Over time, the frequency, loudness, and duration have gotten worse (listen to the end). Now, when I remote start, occasionally the rattle is present EVEN WHEN THE ICE ENGINE IS ON, not just when cutting off.

Well...it is THIS noise. For me, it started at 1900 miles. Has been getting LOUDER and MUCH WORSE in frequency (like every day, multiple times a day). Listen to the very end. It is VERY embarrassing too. I am just waiting for the truck to dump me somewhere.

Hopefully, they are using the version that doesn't have the DAMPER issue!

Nope. VERY difficult to get dealers to even call back. I am soooooo frustrated.

Sounds like a recall in the making....

In fairness, YES, Twice. Awaiting a call back from Sawgrass Ford this week (they should have called me today) for another appointment after they have reviewed the videos I sent them. I will have to call them tomorrow.

FORD did reach out to me for this, twice, still not resolved. :(

Sounds like an engine replacement is the fix if waiting until the 4th quarter. Poo.

Sadly, perhaps it's going to be a normal sound that indicates a recall.

Except the engine is not "running on". I do believe it is going to be the damper between engine/transmission. Waiting on Ford for my appointment to be set this week.

I have looked....everything looks and feels secure.

Except that sometimes it will make that sound for almost 2 full seconds. When it happens while at speed, it also sends a significant shudder through out the truck and is getting worse. Thank you for taking the time to respond! :)

I have edited the videos so that the sounds are more evident (shortened the videos).

AND the are charging you $695 for Registration tags etc....Plantation Ford snaked me out of $700 so I guess the So. Flo. dealers run with the same pack.
