I got my new baby last Monday night. Drove it to work on Tuesday of course. My co-worker promptly put his hand on the paint and starting rubbing it.........
I hope he gets better soon.
No regrets on my Hybrid. Only had it a week, so still on first tank after 500 miles. I'll probably fill it up in a couple of days and find out how big the tank is. This darn thing is peppy too!! No problems passing on the highway, and I drive it in ECO mode.
I initially reserved this to...
My tin-foil hat wouldn't want LoJack on my ride. It's bad enough it comes with Ford Pass, but it is what it is. I'll always have my carbureted Toyota to drive when I need to go incognito.
Great looking truck!! 31mpg's must mean you're driving in "Normal" mode. Select "ECO" and you could probably get 5mpg's back. It's a pain that you have to select it every time you start the vehicle.
This is just a weight savings for hybrids
But seriously, we've all been stressed out for 2+ years and now add on the horrible wait for a vehicle?? If it's not perfect, I'll choose not to let it consume me, but others may still need to vent. Be thankful you were able to get the cheapest...
I haven't seen how far I can go yet on "All Electric" driving, but it will go at least 1 1/2 miles if I keep it under 25mph. This is my first hybrid, and first vehicle new enough to give me real time mpg readouts. I can see now how watching the gas meter could be distracting from watching the...
It refuses to maintain the correct time, or any time at all. It's unpredictable what time the clock will say each time I get in my Mav. 3 times already it just shows --/-- so I set it and it's good until I look at it again.
I wish the window switches had Auto Up, but they do Auto Down at least.
Anybody have an issue with their clock? Mine won't keep the time. I'm getting tired of setting it every time I get in. --/-- is what it looks like.
If you need a test subject vehicle I just got mine last night. Wife asked me what am I going to do to it first? My answer was LOWER IT!! Can't wait for your kit....
Ford tracker told me mine ETD was 02/25/2022. I spoke to the dealer on Monday (02/21/2022) and he said it was already in OKC (90 miles from me in Tulsa). I was Super Excited!!! The weather went South on Wednesday, and I got a "Delayed Delivery" notification to not expect it until 02/28/2022...
That's No Joke!! I'll set my torque wrench to 100 ft-lbs when I replace those stupid 2-piece lug nuts and be done with it. Plus, I'm no fan of "Fine" threads because they goober up and seize to often anyway. Besides, Metric M14x1.5 Grade 8.8 Max recommended torque is 110 ft-lbs. I seriously...
I like small trucks for commuting, and my Hybrid order should give me the best gas mileage possible. It's cheap too, so long as the Dealer doesn't try any funny business when it arrives.....
