My thought is Ford will not make many more 2023 Hybrids (hybrid battery currently listed as a restraint) and save hybrid batteries and wait until the higher priced 2024 are being made, thus making more money.

Are you sure the key doesn't work? It is a little harder to turn the key than normal because you are turning the power actuator. Is your problem the key turns very easy and does not lock/unlock or won't turn at all?

Sounds like you need two Mavericks, one for towing and one for off road play. Make your salesman happy!

I would assume your ecoboost is the same as a Hybrid, if the same then the original non power locking tailgate lock assembly would have had a wire harness going to it with one connector for the back up camera. On the Hybrid you follow that original wire harness to a connector under the bed...
