Used to be you could add time or more miles and pay the difference as long as under 3yr/36k miles. Check with dealer, may have changed but if told you can't my suggestion would be to contact FoMoCo as some employees may not know.

Having the temp indicated on both the knob and the info screen is better because the display is always on the knob and goes off on the info screen after a few seconds. With no display on the knob you have to change the temp knob to see where the temp is set when the info screen displays it...
