Wow, sorry to hear that. That is my biggest fear as well with the Mav to see how quickly they are being totaled. Glad to see that everyone was o.k.. That is the most important part.
Now that you mentioned it, I have never paid attention to these. Believe they should be there as well. Hope this did not trigger something that I will now look at it every time.
Welcome Tommy, plenty of reading to do on here. I was lurking every day for about 4 months prior of joining MTC. Very happy with my 25'Hybrid and 9 months later my wife bought one as well. Good luck finding the perfect one.
I am with you on this one. Was not sure what I am getting into but looking at the prices of other vehicles, this was a no brainer considering it was a Hybrid and a truck as well.
I love the original wheels in bronze. Might want to try Plastidip.
Have used it on my Jeep Wrangler before and it came out great. If you don't like it just remove it - but don't wait years as it will be hard to do.
Had my Jeep TJ for 24 years now and always hated the stupid duck thing. Someone left me one of these a couple of years ago and gave to a little girl down the street. Can't stand them as well as the angry eyes in the grill.
Not sure about that specific one but I bought one of the stubbies for my Mav and could tell a world of difference - in a negative way. Locally it was not too bad but once I went on a road trip, I could tell a difference. Went back to stock and returned the stubby one.
Absolutely correct. That's why I have a XL and my wife bought the XLT with the luxury package. She needed heated seats - even we live in Texas. The only thing I miss is the heated steering wheel which comes in handy a couple of weeks.
Looking for something for my wife's Mav as well. Will most likely go with the Rough Coutnry rubber mat for like 100 bucks. Have the same one in my Mav and it is really heavy duty vs some of the other ones. Believe the one from Tractor Supply is the same. Looking for the Ford tailgate liner for...
I am with you right there. Have been a long-time subscriber but need to fast forward to the end to see the results. But he puts out some great content but should maybe talk a little bit less.
I took my 25'Hybrid AWD with 4k tow package in for the 10k service a couple of weeks. Made a list of items to be checked and one of them was the thud noise. When I picked up the vehicle the service advisor told me that this is the way it was designed. Will probably take it to another dealer next...
They are out there if you take your time and are willing to do a fly and drive. Found my wife her 25'XLT Hybrid with luxury package for 31.2k locally in Texas. Bought my 25' Hybrid XL with 4k tow package / AWD last year in Kentucky for 29.5K. There are still a few good dealers out there. I...
Glad to hear that the Maverick was able to handle this trailer without an issue. Looking for one currently as well & can't wait to go camping with it. Looking at a maximum weight of 3500 lbs to leave a little buffer.
No issues with mine as well. Was the first thing I bought with my points once I acquired my Mav. It has been a little bit more than a year only but no junk underneath. It is quite tight and the 3m tape is great.
I believe that they are more or less all the same. I got mine of E-bay and are very happy with them. Came out to like 24 bucks incl. shipping. Just got the simple black for my Space White one.
That is true. I just passed 10k and my average is 35.9 MPG overall - manually calculated and tracked via Fuelly. So many times I get home and the computer shows like 47 or 48 mpg but the overall per tank is much lower. Have a 25'AWD Hybrid with 4k tow package.
