Hello and welcome. Just joined a couple of days earlier as well. Have spent a couple of months just lurking and do not a Maverick as of yet. Working on it. Great folks on here and very valuable information.
  3. Very expensive to insure the Maverick

Seems that location makes a huge difference. Living in Houston does definitely not help with low insurance.
  4. Very expensive to insure the Maverick

Thanks a lot for everyone’s input. Really appreciate it. The rates are all over the place depending on location as well. But the one I posted is by far the highest. Will get some other quotes in as well. At least it confirms my suspicion about the extremely high quote.

Unfortunately, our 19-year-old daughter had an accident about 2 years ago. But our insurance did not go up after that.

Hopefully that will happen soon. Just checking on deals out there which with the tariff situation does not make it easier. Can't get the 4k package without AWB on the Maverick. Eventually I want to buy a small pull behind camper but I am limited to only 2K on my Wrangler which is a two door. A...
  11. Hello from a someone who does not own a Maverick

Appreciate your feedback. Had the Wrangler for 23 years now and absolutely love it despite its fuel mileage, bumpy ride etc. Fortunately, I have an older Lexus LS400 as well. But yes, hope to own a Maverick soon.
  12. Maverick as a firewood truck?!

Not a wood hauling picture but I absolutely love my CargoMax trailer. One of the best ones I have owned so far. Had it for about 6 years now and it is so easy to move around at 290 lbs. Has a very sturdy aluminum frame and can easily take through my gate into my backyard for storage.
  13. Hello from a someone who does not own a Maverick

Good morning, everyone, just wanted to say hello really quick even I do not own a Maverick. Have already spent hours on here just lurking as I am very interested in either a XL or XLT with AWD, Hybrid and 4K tow package. Really don't need a truck as I have a trailer I can use with my Wrangler...
