Not Safelite
They chipped the paint on my maverick. They swore their tools couldn't do that. Then they said it was Ford's bubbling paint. I said "surely you have before picks" and they said they weren't detailed enough in that area. So I showed them my before picks, they finally accepted...
I had Safelite sent a different tech out from a different location to address my leaks. He had indicated the previous tech didn't do a very good job sealing everything but he was very confident that I wouldn't have anymore issues.
I washed the car with a pressure washer yesterday and no signs...
It's been seeming that way in my hybrid the last couple of weeks. I almost never use the AC and its blowing out much colder than the outside temp.
AC off, Auto climate off, recirc off, fan speed 1, temp dial set to the lowest.

Safelite replaced my windshield a few weeks ago and today in the rain I noticed a puddle developing in the driver footwell. What process did you need to go through to get them to address the issues? I hesitate to just go directly to them since I had issues with them also chipping...
I was at an African Safari Wildlife Park in Ohio today.
They have a drive-through area where you can drive through with cups of food and feed the animals outside your windows. There were signs all over suggesting they weren't responsible for damage, which I should've taken as a warning...
I got mine from TireRack. ~$27 each and they installed them free when they installed the snow tires on my extra rims. The Maverick saw them without any issue and switched back fine when I took the snow tires off.
I got my 2nd chip this weekend. Planned to seal the chip when I got home. I parked somewhere for 30 minutes and it had grown to a 2' crack. Worked with my insurance to have the windshield replaced. They chipped the paint on the A pillar and tried to suggest that the paint was bubbling and...
This is really down to personal preference and needs.
Most likely recommend no plan at all. But, take a look at all the options and costs/coverages and see what works best for you. Granger on here tends to offer the plans at very near cost and I would look into them or inquire about a matching...
I often find myself thinking "man, I made such a good decision".
First "car" I've ever had to wait for and I never thought I'd buy something like this without ever having been able to drive one.
I'm pretty sure the hotspot removal -$20 was right on the window sticker and reflected in the MSRP. I don't think its something they'll give you separately.
I made it ~7000 miles before I got a crack in the windshield. Long winding one in the upper center. Once it grows a couple inches into my driver visibility, I'll have to replace the windshield.
First windshield crack I've ever gotten while driving. I never noticed any impact.
No you should be totally fine.
YES, take the pressure back down to under 40 at least.
Also, double check with a pressure gage. It could just be that your sensors aren't reading correctly.
