OK Thx I think I might of been using it wrong. I did not know you had to have cruise control activated. I'll try it again. Could of swarn I had all of it activated.
I just discovered something. On the inside door latch handle that you open the door with, there is a small locking tab above it that you can push in. If it for some reason is pushed in when you open and then shut the door. The door will auto lock with the keys in the truck.
I noticed when I tried it the other day on the freeway it did not do a great job. Kinda ping ponged back and forth in the lane. Anyone had better performance?
That is not good. I would put a little Sta-Bill rust preventer in that groove now and then. Getting mine undercoated soon. I painted the muffler. It and the exhaust system also have rust issues. But that hybrid has a lot of condensation on the inside of the exhaust system. Wish they had used...
I am looking at the Weatherteck hood protector. The reason why is the double backed tape has no breaks in it. That way road salts and dirt cannot get under it. I am trying to make a decision between that and the AVS deflector which is elevated so you can clean under it. Any opinions welcome.
I just got my new Hybrid Lariat and the synthetic engine noise below 20 MPH is really loud. Is there any way to reduce it? Or even turn it off? I know it is probably law that Hybrids make noise when all electric mode.
Someone please explain why you need to charge this battery if the truck sits for an extended time? Is there some sort of phantom drain? Seems strange the main power battery does not maintain the 12 volt one if that was the case. The engineering of this system seems to be an issue.
