I have a smart charger. I will give it a go Thanks. Such BS these batteries have this issue. That and the CV joints, everything else is great. Thx Andy
I discovered something. I thought the accessories would stay powered after shut down for up to 90 minutes. When I checked the battery after shut down, the volts dropped from 14.6 to 11.9 on Cigarette Lighter Volt Meter. Then I opened and shut the door. 30 seconds to a minute later the interior...
Perfect... Thank you Andy. I have to laugh. My first car was 1965 Mustang. They don't make them like that any more. I'm glad there are guys like you that read the fine print. Thanks for the gouge. Tony
Thank you Haybales. I will leave the truck locked for another night. I am a bit confused about getting an accurate reading on the cigarette lighter volt meter showing actual voltage on a Hybrid 12 V battery. I selected the ignition on without the brake depressed to get power to the cigarette...
I did the relearn procedure which I have never done, Truck was never locked for 9 hours the last 1.5 years. I plugged in a volt meter I just bought to cigarette lighter. Battery was at 14.6 volts with engine not running. So I am guessing the BMS just needed to be reset. (I hope) It is strange...
Thank you. I will get something (volt meter) to check the battery. I have not been in AC mode for quite a while. I never lock the truck in my garage. I will tonight and start checking the volts on the battery Thanks again...Tony
I drive often enough and yesterday I drove for over an hour. 3 hours after I got back my Ford App had warning notification my maverick went into Deep Sleep mode. Weird. This Hybrid is only 1 1/2 years old and has 18,000 miles on it. Absolutely no reason for it to do that. Truck is garage kept...
I threatened to cancel at end of my subscription. First they offered $10 a month then $7, said not good enough. Then I said no more than $5 total and they gave it to me. I just did this. This is laughable. I did this over chat with Sirius XM. I saw one guy get it for $3 a month on a facebook...
after 17000 miles I had 5/32's left. so i replaced them since we had so much snow this year in Pittsburgh. Those Michelins only started out at 8/32's. I did not trust them at 5/32nds in the snow. I replaced them with General's which started at 11/32's..
just got rid of my Michelin Primacy A/S tires on my 2024 Lariat Hybrid. Not the performance in rain I expected . At 15000 miles I am down to 6/32nds ( tires new were only 8/32's) and nearly lost control of my truck in the rain at 40 MPH on a strait highway due to hydroplaning. At 6/32nds now I...
I just would like something subtle that fits in the grill. Blue lights are more of a courtesy request in PA. During a call I need to get around people if they are willing to move over and it is safe.
