  1. Picking up dry cleaning is annoying

well obviously someone has some hangups
  2. Goodbye Maverick, Hello ⚡️

Our 2015 VW eGolf SEL had a heatpump and fully heated windshield as well. Yes they are really nice for defogging the windshield when only using the heated seats/steering wheel.
  3. TPMS sensors are model year specific?

The tire shop set them up when we got the winter tires in Jan of 2023. I'm not sure what they did to program or relearn them. They worked fine last winter. This winter a month after I installed the tires/rim back in the same position( I only put about 1000 miles on them the 1st season) the...
  4. My Maverick is a BRICK (major problem)

For the most part only those with issues are commenting . Not the thousands that are driving trouble free. Anything mechanical/electrical can fail, so I might as well chime in. The rubber boot on the pin of the fuel door is torn at 5K. I noticed it at my 1st fill up. It is being replaced this...
  5. Annoying rattle coming from passenger side

I had one rattle briefly. I discovered I had failed to secure the R sun visor after I had slid it over and it was touching the center rear view mirror mount. It sounded like it was coming from the right A pillar area. It took me about a minute to solve. Otherwise no issues .
  6. 5000 miles so far!

We are also at 5K miles. With winter tires, mostly 2 lane roads we are averaging 38mpg. Over the summer it was closer to 42mpg. We love our truck too.
  7. Need new CV Axle on 2023 hybrid with 33k miles

I'd contact ford directly and explain your situation and the way you discovered to solve it and how your dealer isn't working with you on this problem......maybe you can get it resolved that way, good luck
  8. Poll, Hybrid owners with NO problems

23XLT lux/pkg 4400 miles no problems, just put on snowtires/rims
  9. Underbody rust proofing - opinions?

Black hardwax Waxoyl if properly applied is the best IMHO. We've had it done on a number of vehicles over the years and they stayed rust free. We had our 23 XLT done last month. All the under body panels and wheel well liners must be removed to do a good job and a different waxoyl product is...
  10. XLT wheel color

Does anyone know the paint color code for XLT wheels? I put my snowtires/steel rims on the other day and noticed a few small chips, not curb rash, on the alloys. I'm looking for a touchup pen.
  11. Mud flaps reduce MPG fuel mileage?

I think it would be better to do this with only fronts then only rears and finally one flap at a time to get a more accurate measurement.
  12. Wanted, steel wheels.

I was fortunate last year to have a fellow in TX offer me his steel XL ones for free. I did give him some extra $ for packing, the tpms sensors as well as dropping them off at a UPS store. The shipping costs were about $250. I got some Blizzaks from Towne Fair on sale for $150 each so with...
  13. Winter tires on a hybrid?

I used to live in Rochester NY but have lived here in the White Mts of NH for 50 years. We have a 23 XLT hybrid and I put winter tires(blizzak) on XL steel rims on it when I took delivery in Feb of this year. It drove fine with them but a bit less mpg due to more rolling resistance plus snow...
  14. Hybrid Dead

Am I correct that this a 22 model year issue? Our 23 has been faultless for 7 months now but only 3500 miles.
  15. Cavity Wax/Spray for Rust Prevention

Yes do it. We had ours Waxoyled https://www.waxoyl-usa.com/as we have used it on several other vehicles that never developed any rust. Their hard wax goes on exposed surfaces and they use a thinner clear product that penetrates very well inside enclosed spaces. It is very durable and only need...
  16. Ran the numbers on miles it takes to "Break Even" with the higher price of the Hybrid Maverick 🙇🏻‍♂️💰

I know the sticker says 37mpg but we are averaging about 49mpg mostly hilly rural driving with our hybrid. That will drop somewhat in the winter of course.
  17. Are the Mavericks undercoated

No undercoating from factory, if you are in a rust prone area I'd recommend it. We had ours Waxoyled underneath and inside the doors, tailgate, rocker panels etc no drilling as they use a narrow wand to spray into body cavities through existing drain holes and other openings.
