I checked this morning, my build week moved from 8/8/22 to 8/15/22. I realize it's not the 8/29 build week you mentioned, but I bet we're all going to keep getting moved back.
XLT, EB, AWD
I will be having a DIBL installed as a dealer-installed option. My XLT Ecoboost is supposed to have one Rear Cubby Storage and Ten Pickup Box Tie-Downs. Will the bed liner block access to any of those?
So, in my case, we signed a contract and paid $1000 deposit on Dec. 29 but the order date in Ford's system is Jan. 3, 2022. It was a holiday weekend, maybe that's why it didn't show until then? Anyway, we should be price protected to the MSRP sticker price on Jan. 3 which we agreed to. Is that...
Okay, stupid question as I am still waiting for my build date. What is the brake hold feature in the first place? Is it on Eco boost and hybrid models?
Dash noises, windshield noises, fluttering hoods, holes in fuel tanks, recalls, wiring harnesses, yada yada yada. Maybe by my build date in August (yeah, like that's going to happen without being pushed off) they will be incorporating some fixes in the production line to some of these problems.
If the full sized spare was a constrained item, maybe it isn't now(?) I left in on my EB XLT with AWD (dropped the SIBL in the spring) and now I have a VIN and a "build date" in early August. Ordered late December, by the way.
Boomer here. I plan to go with a streaming service through my phone (I have a good data plan, so no worries there.) But when I'm home, you can keep your MP3's and streaming, it's vinyl all the way, baby! With CD's as a secondary source for music I don't have on vinyl, I listen thru a vintage...
Somewhat related to this topic...still waiting on the truck so I haven't seen an owner's manual...can auto stop-start be temporarily disabled by dashboard controls?
We have an XLT EB AWD on order (order date 12/30/21) with full size spare, floor liners and mats and, I thought, a drop in bed liner. A few months back the dealer called and asked if we wanted to drop the SIBL due to constraints, so we did and asked him to add the DIBL. This week we got a VIN...
We didn't get the email but today we did get a VIN and a production date of mid August. In Spring we dropped the spray in bed liner which was constrained. We asked the dealer to add a drop in bed liner instead. Well, looking at the order online today it seems the dealer didn't add the drop in...
I see your point, but for me, I think it's a non issue. My current plan is to drive it into the ground, as I have my current Ranger (with a Mazda B2300 nameplate.) So resale value won't be a problem...unless it's a lemon and I try to sell or trade it. Then, it's a whole other ball game.
I spoke with my dealer yesterday and he told me that if we don't make MY 2022, our order will automatically roll over to MY 2023. But I thought I saw in another thread that if you don't make 2022, your order will be cancelled and you must re-submit an order, and for those people, the order bank...
Ordered Dec. 29, so of course we haven't heard anything. XLT, EB, AWD, full size spare, drop in bed liner, floor liner with carpeted mats only options. At this point, it might be preferable to get rolled to 2023 model if some of the glitches are fixed in the new model year. But with two...
