@fordvideoguy see this thread? Maybe you could fact check this in time for tonight's episode pretty please.......
I'm scheduled for a build this week and hoping it's not a big holdup.
There's no need to use fuelly. I agree with the "less is more" mentality. The main purpose of fuelly is to get accurate numbers. If you don't want to be bothered, you could just do a simple calculation of how many miles driven divided by how many gallons it took to fill up. It just ensures...
I googled the location of the rail yard. I'll be passing by that area on Thursday. If it doesn't start moving before then, we'll need to break it out! I have no idea, but they must keep the keys in with the truck or nearby........
In ICE vehicles, that's usually how long the engine was running. I'm not sure how it works with hybrids or anything with start/stop technology. Probably starts the clock when the vehicle is started and keeps the tally running until the vehicle is turned off....but that's just my guess
I'm curious to know how the computer calculates that, as the engine will still need to run if the battery is low, or to help power accessories and such if the drain level is too high. I have a feeling that it's not very exact, especially when the latest TFL mpg video showed the computer was...
Congrats! Please post your thoughts and opinions after you get a little bit acquainted with it. I've been anxious to read some "real people" reviews from actual owners, not the reviewers that were given a loaner from Ford.
I'm excited to read about the movement, but get really depressed seeing the slowness of the whole process and the occasional delays. Not sure if I really want to track mine (when it eventually ships) or will just wait to get a call from the dealer. Sometimes the anticipation can be a killer!
This should be a national event! Good luck and Congratulations to all the first recipients!!!
I'm curious how much time the dealer needs (on average) to inspect for transport damage, do the final prep and shine the vehicle all up before the customer comes in.
@fordvideoguy any insight? And while...
I think it's likely they'll add a longer bed and drop the crew cab for an inexpensive work pickup. I don't think they'll make anything similar to the transit, since that's already the standard work van for most commercial uses. And like the Mav Hybrid, the e-transit is already sold out for the...
numbers would be much more accurate is people did the simple math vs. trusting the trip computer. I know it takes a minute of effort, and ideally filling up at the exact same pump, but still........
Right? That's exactly my thoughts. I just wish I knew more information about the TuxMat company. I can't seem to find the person in the other thread that had mentioned them.
