HYBRID! HYBRID! HYBRID!
OMG! I didn't even place my order with Ford yet, and it's already been scheduled for production next week! Ford must have E.S.P!!!! I even planned on adding every factory holdup option and they are all included in the build!

I know it...
New article on Yahoo that says the hybrid hold-up is ONLY for stock orders and not retail. Hoping this is true!

Maybe by the time they start rescheduling hybrids, I'll be able to add BACK the spray-in bedliner.........
My teen is gonna be disappointed. He gets my current car when the new Maverick gets delivered. He was hoping to drive himself to school second semester (January). Doesn't look probable now.
The most noticeable is the coin tray one. That should be easy to get a replacement for (in time), but those little orange lines on the vents might be harder to cover.
I think you're being overly optimistic about the timeline. It's probably gonna be closer to 4 weeks for delivery. I can't believe it would come in 2 weeks.
Nice! Great company, and I pass by the building once in a while so it's convenient for me. Unfortunately, without a build date.....I'm not gonna pick them up too soon.
There are a TON of phone mounts that have wireless charging. YES, the mount needs to be connected with a cord, but it prevents you from messing with a plug in the phone everytime in/out of the car. I cannot vouch for any particular brand, but definitely watch the charging power before buying as...
Agreed that production is definitely ramping up in Mexico. However, there was also mention of Michigan factories being shuttered for an additional week, and also going down to one shift (from two).....that means there's still either a BIG impact from the chip shortage or trouble with...
Does the "My Kid is an honor student" bumper sticker and the stick figure family decals count? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:......kidding aside, I probably won't do much. Probably just some vinyl graphics at first. And the cab spoiler. That's growing on me. Plus some weather-tech floor mats once...
It'll come down to sales numbers and $$$. If the Maverick sales are as high as I think they could be in the next couple years, I'm sure they'll change their mind.
I love the idea of a soft rubber bed mat, but won't you lose the functionality of the two tie-downs in the floor? I think those tiedowns are the ones I'll be using the most.
Dropped the spray-in via an email to my salesperson. Salesman notified me he took care of it, but I'd like to verify he did. I've asked a couple times for my order number and haven't gotten a response. Guess I'll have to make a trip into the dealership tomorrow. Does anyone know if i should...
My understanding was that 20% was the total Ford conversion rate, not just his dealership. I also had a poor response from the dealer I was referred to (by closest location) and placed multiple reservations because I thought it didn't go through to them.
My dealer mentioned that the conversion rate from pre-orders to actual orders was around 20%. I think the 100k number is way overblown, but I also think that the Maverick will be an eventual big seller and bring in many people who never have considered a pickup before. Me included.
So assuming I didn't get a production date email, that means the earliest production date for me will be at LEAST november? Is that correct?
Does anyone know when the next scheduling dates are? I'm not in any immediate hurry, but will really need another vehicle before the end of the year.
