Federal law says dealers are responsible for any recalls on cars they sell. Manufacturer has to do they no matter who owns car. Financers and insurance companies check that recalls are done.
This is not a bubble, a bubble is speculation. There is not a supply to meet demand. If the auto manufacturers are hiding thousands of vehicles from a buying public that is fraud not a bubble. If there isn't a hidden supply of vehicles it is a shortage not a bubble.
These are not ordinary times. Disruption is the order of the day, Micro chips and diesel oil. No diesel= no trucks, no trains, no ships. No trucks in= no parts in= no vehicles out of plant. What will tomorrow bring?
I usely rub canola oil on my cast iron and then heat to 350 for an hour to put a non stick coating on it. I prefer Lodge Cast Iron. It will last over a hundred years if cared for.
Take care of what? It looks to be a cast iron part. A little rust won't hurt the part for probably another fifty years. If they had spray painted it someone would have complained it had runs in it. If it were stainless steel and had rust on it I would worry.
First ordered velocity blue, then found out it wasn't a choice any longer. Switched to Oxford white to go with FX4 and all the other black accents available.
At this point the EB and EV are two different vehicles: automatic transmission vs. cvt, 4,000 lb. towing vs. ? You can find more but those two alone keep me from buying a hybrid. To each his own. If the hybrid suits you that is good.
You are not stupid for asking the question. Only ignorant as I was. I believe the only true stupid question is the one you don't ask. If you had not asked I would have had to look it up or do as you did and ask.
You need to read how he clarified his statement. It is as I stated it was not about hybrids in general but Hybrid Mavericks vs. Eco Boost. Hydrogen vehicles have been on the radar over 50 years. Long before hybrid vehicles meant having battery assist.
