Why does a Lariat have a higher price of $2,200 for an Eco Boost than a Hybrid. For an XL and XLT it is the same price for either one. However the Lariat has a higher price for the EB. Anyone able to explain the difference?
That is strange I have only seen the same one. A gray one driven by a lady. Hopefully next month there will be one more. I shot for the moon hoping that the restrained parts might catchup some during change over on model years.
Got my email from Ford telling me mine is scheduled for week of 1/16/2023. Landers McClarty in Fort Payne. Lariat, EB, FX4, Lux, CoPilot 360 and spray in liner. Good luck to the rest of you! PS VIN assigned.
My 2014 F150 did not have fender well covers. They were an extra cost feature. In seven years I had no problems caused by lack of them. Was surprised when my Bronco Sport had them. Then learned they were paper.
Check the media for shortages regarding the materials necessary to build the batteries. This is an industry wide problem not a Ford problem. This must be why the Eco is a no cost option.
To those with the same problem of non-delivery, tell them you will be contacting the FTC. They only have so much time to deliver or refund you money. Also always use a credit card as you have a right to cancel for taking longer than promised. That has worked for me.
If you don't trade it in on the vehicle you are purchasing, you will probably have to pay sales tax on the full amount. In Alabama the trade-in reduces the amount sales tax is paid on.
Used car prices vary by region right now. So listen to the advice but do some research locally. Also trading in may have sales tax advantages to factor in. Good Luck!
