The point is, with the FordPass app deleted from your phone, you may not know your Maverick is in Deep Sleep Mode.

Are you sure the dome light comes on every time you open the door? If not, maybe it was in deep sleep and you didn't know because it couldn't tell you.

How does your CRV keep the HVB warm when the temperature is -5F and has been turned off for over an hour?

When in neutral it is the HVB that provides the power to spin MG1 which in turn spins the ICE to start it. At cold temperatures although charge the HVB may not have any output.

The HVB starts the ICE. Below -5F Li-ion batteries may not be able to discharge. My guess is the 12v battery can heat and circulate the antifreeze enough to heat the HVB above -5F. At that point the ICE will start.

When working in the yard, I don't carry my phone or keys. If the tailgate is locked, I find the keypad very convenient.

If the WI-FI isn't actually connected to the to a network, turn it off. WI-FI is a huge parasitic load when searching for a network.
