Thanks to A.Bursell. I used his painters tape trick to install my trailer hitch filler panel. Installing the panel is a bit of a struggle and I am sure I would have marred it if was not taped it.
I had my Maverick for about 6 months before adding a tail gate dampener. I was surprised how much I like it. I also added d-rings to both sides of the tailgate, leaving the bottle opener on the passenger side.
P.S. The piston seal will last longer if the piston is mounted on top.
For about $120 a year reduction in my car insurance, I put a snitcher in my Maverick. It did change my driving habits a little.
Because it lacks situational awareness and judgment, I do find it annoying at times. For instants, being the slowest car on the road you can still be reported as...
Drove my wife's SUV for the first time in months, it seemed to take a lot of unnecessary movement and effort to shift.
I really like the free spinning puck, no worry about drive or park. However, I could use a little more feedback for reverse and neutral. When I feel it is necessary to shift...

After about a week the driver's side rear flare pulled away from the fender about 1/8". When I removed it I discovered the flange was too wide for the tape to make good contact with the fender. Before I reinstalled it, I sanded down the flange until it was as thin as the thickness of tape...
It doesn't look like car wash damage to me. It looks like poor car prep with a circular polisher covered up with a wax job that finally washed off.
My Maverick has been through the car wash about 60 times, no scratches no swirls.
I don't know.
I don't remember ever turning off my hybrid when the engine was running. The prime directive for hybrids is protect the HVB. Don't over charge it, don't let the charge get to low.
p.s. You can use the Ford Pass App to start a Ford with it parked in a closed garage.
Two questions: Is your hybrid ever going into full electric mode, and how long have you waited to see if the engine would shut off on its own? It could the high voltage battery not charged above the minimum charge when shut off.
There seems to be a lot of misconception of what maximum tire pressure is. As tire pressure changes, side wall flex changes. The change in side wall flex changes the spring rate of the tire. When the tire pressure is increased above the maximum pressure the spring rate no longer changes.
PEVs are todays CFLs. CFLs were never really accepted by the general public and were quickly replaced by LEDs. PEVs are a pain in the ass that will be replaced by hydrogen powered vehicles before PEVs are accepted by the general public.
The car was a 49 Chevy painted Cadillac champagne gold and the rims were flat black.
The root beer was great. But I think they cheated us with the hollow bottom glasses.
I squeezed black RTV under the bed cover rails 18 moths ago. You can't see it and no leeks.
I must have stretched the bulkhead seal a litle to much and ended up with a little seepage in each corner. You could see paint between the end of the seal and the bed rail. I filled those gaps with...
I preferer real knobs and buttons over touch screen controls. Yes, I have driven cars with only touch screen controls. I found myself taking my eyes off the road way to long to find the correct button, then I hit a bump and press the wrong button.
Even though the touch screen is larger, it...
My observations of deep sleep and cigarette lighter voltmeter.
I had three deep sleep experiences. The truck was a little over a year old when I had the first one. It was several weeks after a software update, I don't which one. The truck had not been driven for about a week when I got the...
