I'd be more worried about the damage thieves are likely to do improperly jacking the car up than the loss of the wheel itself, you know most of them probably aren't aiming for a prime jacking spot and don't care what gets bent or damaged.
I'm fortunate that around here wheel theft isn't a big...
I hate seeing stuff like this, makes me worry about rust also over the long term. Road salt, wet snow and dirt and grime from winters over time hanging in those spots could be a real problem.
I sold my Bronco sport in august and ordered my Maverick, made $4200 over what I paid for it after A plan and taxes. The market is insane. We also recently sold our 2020 escape for almost to the dollar what we paid new (with 30k miles on it).
So I have a question as someone who has not towed before; is the ford accessory hitch with 2ā drop the best all around to go for? Part number BL3Z19F503B - I was going to get a curt or something and thereās tons of different part numbers for 2ā hitches with 2ā drop, they all look the same to...
I like it, obv I'm on bronze for my winter set so I'm bias. I like that darker tone though.
$400 seems like a pretty good deal if the work was quality. Did you have to have the tires removed prior to dropping them off? Did they do sandblasting in house or did you have to have someone else do...
Again good advice, don't negotiate payments. You can figure your own payment googling a payment calculator. The cost X sales tax + fees if any and then break it down and play with the interest rate. If you're going to finance the car, work solely on the number. They can make your payment...
Also this ^ I've done this before also, a lot of times Ford offers you a great interest rate (0-1.9) OR like a 4.9 but several thousand off in rebate and clearance, so yeah if you have the liquid on hand you have the power play to do these kinds of moves and the finance charge for the first...
I waffled on doing no interest vs paying the cash. Obviously mathematically taking no interest and letting that money gain interest works out best. But ultimately I didn't want the payment and I had saved and put myself in the position to own it outright so that's what I did.
If you're going to...
I drove myself nuts! Cactus grey was my first choice, but I had the pang of doubt over Area 51. Then Velocity Blue crept in, and Cyber Orange. I always love white cars when they're clean with a nice set of wheels so I bounced on white for a while too, but I stuck with my gut and went cactus grey...
Louisville here.
Ordered 08/28 at Byerly Ford. Went into production Thanksgiving week, was built and shipped a couple days after Thanksgiving and was delivered 12/16, I picked it up 12/18. XLT Ecoboost AWD.
Would love to eventually have some sort of meet or check out some other local Mavericks.
To get back on topic, I asked Borla since they have such a close relationship with Ford Performance if we could expect the Maverick systems soon. Their reply was to stay tuned for some big announcements this spring, so hopefully we donāt have to wait too much longer!
