Seems a little expensive to me but I know prices are different in different parts of the country
I purchased the RoadMaster Base (#524480-5), NightHawk TowBar, Combo Kit Nighthawk and the towed car charge line kit directly from RoadMaster for about $2,300 including shipping and taxes
I paid...
No issue with my taillights on my bike rack unless I flat towed the maverick behind my RV in neutral tow since the 4 prong plug is not powered with the ignition off other wise it works great - I just order a taillight harness from Curt Mfg to resolve this issue I should be installing it in a few...
Iām living proof that the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid definitely can be flat towed I installed a RoadMaster baseplate and RoadMaster Nighthawk towbar it tows four wheels down like a dream - like I mentioned before I wait the 15 minutes if it convenient but not always and I have not experienced any...
It may help the air flow and divert the bugs from the Windshield but my main criteria was to protect the paint on the front edge of the hood, living in Florida I donāt think itās possible to prevent bugs from hitting the windshield but I usually wash the windshield a few times a week to manage...
I have it installed on my 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid for just over a year I have no build up and it still look great and I live in Florida as well...
I donāt disagree but thatās another thing to manage each time I connect or disconnect the Maverick to the RV and would require running new wiring from the from grill of the Maverick to the rear bumper of the Maverick to access the bike rack lighting
This definitely clears things up for me thank you - I also assume the 12v supply in the bed is not powered when the ignition is off as well so grabbing power there wonāt be an option- I was just trying to avoid running a wire to the battery using the Curt Mfg harness
on another note I do have a...
I assumed the four prong plug for the trailer connection was powered with the key off it works perfect with the bike rack lights when I normally drive the Maverick - the ignition is off when you engage neutral tow so that was when I realized itās not always powered - the bike rack lights have to...
i reached out to Curt Mfg today to get some more information and to answer a few questions I have regarding their plug and play harnesses that supports an additional 4 prong plug - I'm not really crazy about running a wire to the battery to support the install - weāll see what they sayā¦
My concern coming off the RV for the bike rack application is the distance from the RV to the rear of the Mavericks bike rack and having to route a totally separate wiring harness not a bad option and I appreciate the comment but Iām lazy lol
I will look at this today I donāt know if I have both a 4 prong and 7 prong plug on the RV I use the 7 prong RV plug to connect to the front of the Maverick
I guess I would rather tap the Maverickās taillights because the connectivity between the RV and Maverick performs flawlessly itās just the 4 prong plug on the rear of the Maverick that is not powered when the Maverickās ignition is off when in neutral tow - I need to look closer at the Curt Mfg...
