When my Maverick is plugged into the RV all the brake lights, turn signals and taillights work great while I flat tow the Maverick with the ignition off - the issue is with the four prong plug not being powered when in neutral tow and the ignition is turned off so it only affects my bike rack...
Probably not much help for your 2023 but to exit neutral tow on my 2025 AWD Hybrid I simply jump in and start the Maverick press the brake pedal and put it in drive…
I get the same cross traffic alert when I plug my bike rack with taillights into the four prong plug as I would expect being it thinks I’m pulling a trailer - the lights work great until I put my Maverick in Neutral Tow once I connect it to my RV to flat tow the Maverick after getting the above...
That’s a lot of information to digest - I’ve purchased a lot of new vehicles and I have yet to experience buyers remorse- I like to keep it simple.

Just about to install a stand alone solar powered TPMS on the Maverick. I flat tow the Maverick behind my RV and want to monitor the tire pressure and tire temperatures and know what’s going on back there before something catastrophic happens any one used this type of system on their Maverick?
It appears that the four prong plug is not hot when the ignition is turned off when the Maverick is engaged in “neutral tow” and the ignition and accessories modes are turned off which is required to flat tow the Maverick
the Maverick’s taillights, brake lights and turn signals all work fine...
