I’m in the same boat- I’d love to go to 235 70 for the extra .5” clearance and a more truck look. Can only get destination at2 in my area in that size. Seems like a decent tire. But 235 65 there’s A LOT more choice, including the cheaper and better Nokian NAT. Given I’m not picking my truck up...
welcome to the internet! I feel like every forum I'm on has that issue. I think it's a lack of patience most of the time - people would rather just yell their question than spend 10 minutes doing some light research, bit weird, cos they're probably not the ONLY person to have had a battery die...
Mine's on its way to Edmonton. ETA has changed about 10 times in the past week, ranging from Sept 1 (21 days after shipped) to Sept 26 (47 days after shipped). Crap shoot. Good luck!
Lot of moving pieces, tbh. The Long McArthur videos give a great overview into how things get scheduled. I had a lot of 'red flags' that likely delayed my build date: - Hyb, AWD, Block Heater. But whatever! Sold my truck a month ago, and I'm enjoying the savings and health benefits of biking...
anyone have a ballpark on cost difference buying a warranty extension with the new vehicle vs around the 30k (i.e. still within regular warranty) mark? Picking up the maverick in a month or so and I'm sure the dealer will try an upsell...
Apparently the block heater issue that was holding up builds is resolved. Dealer tells me I'm scheduled for Aug 4... I'll believe it when I see it! XL Hybrid AWD 4k
Still all quiet! Dealer says block heater recall likely affecting build schedule. Order April 28 - no schedule yet. Glad I didn’t sell my truck just yet! On the plus side I thought I might need to finance $10k but I’ll be able to save up by the time it is built!
Indeed. I guess I’ll follow up by any feedback from Alaska/far north of Canada folks? Not a lot of hybrid mavericks in the Yukon so far as the lack of awd was a big deterrent
Hi - I did a fair bit of searching before posting, so hopefully I'm not duplicating anything... Live in the Yukon, Canada. In winter we routinely see -20 to -30 celsius, and every vehicle I've ever had here has had block + pan heater and a heater for the battery These are pretty easy to install...
I placed an order on April 28 and the dealer's communications has been... poor. I chase them once a week to find out, well, anything, and the last I was told was 'it should be six weeks', but I really doubt that, especially with shipping times. I've never bought a new vehicle before so I don't...
