I changed mine the first time at 2000 miles. No regrets as the stuff that came out of it was nasty. Brownish green stuff that didn't smell any too good either. I'll change it again at 5000, then every 5000 afterwards.
People don't take into consideration who is telling them the extended oil...
The ABS module is where I changed it. It's one of the EZ switches, toggled to enable. I've looked all through the spread sheet here on the forum and that's the only place it's showing. Is there another part somewhere?
Enabled Sport mode on my '24 XLT FX4 w/4k tow. Toggle through the mode button menu and Sport shows on the display, but then a screen pops up saying "mode not available". What am I missing here?
I came to the Maverick from a Chevrolet Spark (tiny econobox) and was expecting a noticeable increase in rates. But, I was pleasantly surprised that my rate only went up $2.00 per month. State Farm, so Iāll see what happens in a few months..
I changed mine yesterday at 2k miles. Some pretty rank looking oil for so few miles. Assembly junk and such in it I guess. Will do it again at 5k, then every 5k after..
I got mine from the TuffSkinz store on Amazon. After they had shipped the add page changed with an edit saying some Chinese company had hacked into their store and were skimming orders. Got mine, sure enough, no name. Filed for a return, return address label within 5 days. 5 days came and went...
Didnāt know what I would be getting into, but it ended up being pretty easy. Skid plate was the hardest part, but even it wasnāt a big deal given they put that tab on the front of it to hold it while getting a bolt or two in it. Was kinda concerned about the filter after seeing people talking...
Itās not just youngsters that get had. This was a bad deal example, but Harley Davidson has been doing this exact same thing for years. People who are old enough to know better are forking out $45k on a new bike that MSRPs for $40k, on 8 year notes at 10%-12% interest. Itās not just an...
Motul 300V (very high grade double ester stuff) motorcycle oil doesn't look like it has antifreeze in it, it looks like the antifreeze. Not quite as bright green as actual coolant, but close to..
Second time Iāve done it now. Setting the fan speed going down the highway and bump the seat heater button. Minute later it occurred to me, āmy ass is on fireā. Look down and the seat is on high doing its thing. Have made a mental note to self to watch that in the future. Will be great in the...
First Iād heard of Hondaās problems. I donāt exactly follow this kind of stuff closely, so hadnāt seen any of it. Reviews have been stellar for Honda through the years, but complexity looks to be taking its toll on them now too.
I think most auto manufacturers are having this to some extent. Hard to find a new vehicle that doesn't have some sort of issue. Honda being a possible exception as I've not seen anything major from them.
Last vehicle I had was recommended to only use a dry microfiber towel to clean the screen. Worked well, so doing the same with the Maverick. So far so good.
It took a minute to get used to, but all good now. I started focusing on the gear indicator on the dash which got me to always turning it the correct direction, which was really the only issue I had with it (my issue more than the shifterās). I try to always roll with whatever comes along..
