How about some missed opportunities?
I bought a 1969 Honda CB750 when I got home from Vietnam. I kept it for about 10 years then traded it in for $900. Do you know what a "Sandcast" version like I had goes for today?
In the early 1990s a guy I worked with offered me his dusty, 1965 427 Corvette...
"That makes zero sense." Quote from Proflig8tor.
The point is, that was a flippant comment I copied elsewhere.
It illustrates the complete idiocy of those who want to "End fossil fuels." We CANNOT end fossil fuels, because that would require a loss of many different things besides fuels that...
I used to lead bikers on motorcycle rides here in PA. Once while we were in a restaurant eating our lunch a hail storm, about like the O.P. put up, hit our area. I have a Honda ST1100 to which I added some fog lights on the forks. There is a rocker switch on the fairing and didn't those little...
If anybody that buys a full EV vehicle thinks they are saving the environment, I have news for you. No you are not. You create more pollution just mining the elements out of the earth, and transporting/processing them to make the batteries and when you recharge, you are just, most likely, using...
I'll bet I drove a full electric vehicle long before anyone else on here.

This non-plug in Maverick Hybrid is as *#*@^* GREEN as I will get. The ONLY green I care about is what's in my wallet after pumping gas. I am not interested in raising my electric bill. And there is a guy in Virginia who did a you tube video comparing an identical trip in his Maverick Hybrid...
A guy that used to work for me owned a car repair business. I have rust proofed a vehicle I bought in 2017 and it still looks okay after 6 winters in the rust belt. Anyway, I told him I thought this Maverick will be a rust bucket in short order if I don't do something. He suggested I look into...
I am going to assume the eCVT circulates the same oil as the engine and they share one drain point. If that is the case and you are seriously concerned about the thumping, I recommend an oil analysis. I don't know if Blackstone is familiar enough with this engine and drive system to point to a...
I picked up my hybrid on Friday the 26th, after 594 days. I can only speculate what is causing the failures, so I will list all I can think of. (I used to build piston engines for a large corporation.) Number 1, Connecting rod failure. Number 2, piston pin failure. Number 3, piston failure...
Mine seems okay as far as setting the temperature goes, but there is one thing about the air system I do NOT like. I want the air to blow towards my face, but when you angle the vent that direction, they shut off. What's up with that?
Well, this will be interesting. When I finished the deal last Friday, MAy 26th, the F&I man asked if I was a veteran. I told him I spent three years in the Army including a year in Vietnam.
I would leave it on if you like it. However, if you later on decide to remove it, heat it up gently with a hair dryer and peel very slowly. Don't pull straight out at 90 degrees to the surface, but pull back horizontally. That may prevent any paint from pulling off.
