Keep in mind, most sensors are one wire, which supplies ground when activated or deactivated. In other words. the oil pressure sender switch will supply ground when there is no pressure present. That would illuminate the warning light. So there would be power in the wire all the time, just an...
Hybrid owners need to know that there is a small green plug in the engine compartment just near the driver's side headlamp. You pull the end piece out of that plug and it kills the high voltage clear back to the battery. BTW, Page 320 of the owner's manual recommends some things to do before...
I don't know if this engine has an oil pressure sender, but if it does that would be a source for a signal when the engine is running, but maybe not the alternator.
I have been running (on other vehicles) Bridgestone Blizzaks, Studless Snow and Ice tires and they are amazing. Not planning on doing snow in the Maverick since we have an AWD CR-V LX for that. Before that car a Subaru Forester got us through all Pennsylvania driving except at the top of my...
As long as we are griping, I want to add that I would rather redesign the lighting system. There is no way to completely turn off the lighting system, when you want to, unless you completely turn the truck off. For instance, if I want to wait in the car at a parking spot and run the air...
I wouldn't go to the New York city area if you paid me, but I can go to a post office. How about I send you my two orange items, and you return ship them in the same box? I'll put a return address label inside so you can just stick it on, pay the mailman and send it back. PM me for further info.
You would probably need a small chisel and hammer to knock a piece off. Or, just try grinding it off. Or use a file on a bit, see what is under the paint on those bumps.
I would say that is probably weld splatter. Knock a chunk off and see if there is bare metal underneath. Then try to crush the spec you took off. If it crushes easily it is dirt. If it's hard it is metal from the machine welding process.
Thanks. The location is on West 4th Street at Veterans Memorial Park, just west of Williamsport, PA.
There is also a tank sitting to the left of the plane (out of frame.)
You guys better stop praising this vehicle or the engineers will demand a huge raise from Jim Farley and the prices will go up again.
I don't have any complaints and I was surprised the mpg exceeds even the 2022 estimates. I only have about 1100 miles and the two times I filled the tank I got...
